this is just crazy teams cannot win in certain weather

Miami the fish lose in the rain lol and fans do not go to games in hot weather
but one year @ CHIEFS ina blizzrd they won in shootout 45- 40 way back in 90's i think

Eagles a bird wins in the rain

BILLS IN snow have lost at home many times one year vs Pats they were like lil snomen on sidelines watching brady run amok

Cardinals cannot win in snow one year @ New england Coachs removed starters at 1/2 time Brady was making snow angels for real

wash stinks in west coast games

LIONS are owned @ cardinals s/u and ats one year Cards home dog tied game

and there BAD DOME teams that cannot play out doors

Falcons , Colts , Cardinals , now LV Raiders Chargers and rams share same stadium

Traditionally, warm weathered and dome teams have done horrible in outdoor stadiums and in cold, inclement weather. I remember way back in the 80's - 90's the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were something like 0 - 43 in temperatures below freezing (32 degrees and below)! Tomorrow in Kansas City temps are supposed to be 8 degrees with 10 - 15 mph winds with a wind chill factor of 10 below. Some forecasts are predicting maybe even colder and possibly breaking the all-time record for coldest game. As we speak, the Dolphins have lost 10 straight games when the temperature is 40 or below. (the longest active streak in the NFL). If that wasn't enough to convince you, how about this nugget. Tua has lost all 5 of his coldest starts in his career. his stats are pedestrian with a 57% completion percentage, 5 td's, 7 int's in those games. Furthermore, he is 23 - 4 in games above 70 degrees, and only 6 - 13 in games under 70! and factor in all of Miami's injuries and with temps near 0 degrees, it's not to hard to figure out why the number has skyrocketed to Chiefs (-4.5) at most books now. and even that might be too low. anything less than a TD, KC is the play.

in fairness that stat was somewhat skewed. They were also like 2 - 187 in games above 32 degrees.

What is the record of Miami playing in this weather? You probably have a list of hundreds of games Old Bill, right?

FWIW, Miami is 15 - 42 in games below 50 degrees the last two decades. and as I've already mentioned, 0 - 10 in games below 40 degrees since 2017. Tua has played in 4 games below 45 degrees during his brief career and he is currently winless in those affairs with a QB rating of 71.8. of course there is always a first time for everything!

15-42 below 50 degrees means all games were road games for them.

What is the typical road record of teams in the NFL? Is there even a single team above .500 with a 57 game sample?

I didn't research of all that, Pavy. I was just sticking to the subject and task at hand. Basically how warm weathered teams like Miami fare outdoors in freezing temperatures and inclement weather. which is vital because of the game tomorrow in KC where it's supposed to be 0 degrees and even colder with the the wind chill factor. Do what you will with that information brother! Good luck, re mangas!...

I think the weather is not going to be a factor in a playoff game unless all Miami players were born and raised in Miami and never lived outside their city in their life. I don't have the roster in front of me but they probably have players on roster who were born and raised up north or played college in Michigan or Penn St or Wisconsin where is cold in winter.
