    Pacers Hawks Total 251.5 ?!

Hawks last games ended in: 242, 230, 246, 226, 239 and even their last preseason game with the Pacers (Oct 16) ended in 228 pts.

The Pacers of course are the #1 fastest pace scoring team....

Now due to the fact the Hawks haven't scored anywhere near 250 I like the over here, gambling is about breaking trends, however the line is so damn high!!

Gimme 240 on that, I'd take the over in any given day, but 251?

    What do you guys think?

The books have finally adjusted to Pacers games after 9 straight overs. No thank you, I will not be betting at this total. Wait for it to drop live.

i knew it was going to happen sooner or later with how the pacers were killing overs... and then continued to do so after i said you should pray if you bet a pacers under

i bet the over hits here and then the under hits next time it's over 250

Completely, and tomorrow Hawks Brooklyn line is "only" 232.5 lol... is it the Pacers who're doing all this hype?

Damn! Has anyone watched their games? Do they just run up and down the court?

They play tomorrow/today (depends where you are in the world) against the Toronto Raptors and the line is 237.5 - isn't it fishy?!

Ummm.......gambling is about breaking trends? Normally, betting with the trend is what it is about. Like Mike Tomlin has won 17 straight (not sure of exact number) MNF games at home. When would you or did you start bucking that trend and breaking it? Game 8? 4? 12?

this is what the books do... they knew these teams were gonna do is most likely so they make what seems like a high total to entice under money... and what happens is the over hits in the 3rd quarter... and while people were thinking "ill bet the under they can score 62 a quarter and ill win" what you get is a game total hitting what the all-star game total was a few years ago

we should've seen this trap coming from a mile away and bet the highest alternative over available...

Forget about the past now, I'm asking you about the present... Tonight you got Hawks Brooklyn 233 and Pacers Raptors 237.5 - taking an under here especially with the Pacers - isn't it a suicide?

How do you go about any of these 2 totals tonight?

I didn't but I wanted to, Fairlay didn't credit my deposit, never happened to me before... I officially give up, the banks, the exchanges all ask questions if you want to bet, it's simply impossible to be able to put $3k on a bet you like so much without paying a huge fee or what's not ... not worth it ... I either need to keep my money in crypto which I don't do, or figure something out.

WH also limited me, so I can't do much ... but happy for you for taking the bet.

This is easier said than done, but the real secret to betting trends is to get on board just as they are developing and getting off just as the betting public catches on and the books make the adjustments.

    Riddle me this?

How many of y'all have said to yourself after a particular game, "I think this just very well might be starting a trend here"?
And after doing so you realize that you were correct?

Now, back to the question at hand.
I'm a stat, numbers, and analytics freak.
    (The hell you say)?

I love my DFS, I do NBA, NFL, and MLB.
Some of you don't like the fantasy sports, and I can respect that, but I'll tell you this much, participating in fantasy sports gives you an edge knowledge wise as to who's who and what's what.

In my Best Ball NBA league I drafted three Atlanta Hawks, Murray (SG) and Johnson as my third forward and utility man.
So I pay attention to Hawks game.

Pacers play no defense, less than no defense if that's possible.
As a team they are dead last in team defense, and the Hawks are only slightly better. (27th out of 30)
Conversely both teams are ranked one and two in the NBA in total offense, that 251 total the other night did not shock me in the least as the average score involving both teams to date is 126-122.

Both teams feature two of the best scoring point guards today (Young and Haliburton, and Murray can stuff a stat sheet as well) and Turner the center is a top ten scorer at that position as well.

    You like scoring?
Pay attention to the Washington/Atlanta game Saturday night, that should be a defensive coaches nightmare as well.

Blazers are young with injuries. The total should be 232.
