Streaming NFL Sunday Ticket will now be $449.

YouTube’s baseline “Sunday Ticket” package will cost $349 for YouTube TV subscribers or $449 for non-subscribers.
The streamer is offering $100 off all its plans for anyone who signs up before June 6.
YouTube TV became the owner of “Sunday Ticket” in December, paying roughly $2 billion for the rights, and taking over DirecTV’s longtime contract.

I don't know at $449, they will probably bring some new stuff to the table like having the games available for replay during the week with possibly downloadable stats directly to your excel spreadsheet. Then again maybe not.

I go with Directv NFL ticket, it's cheaper.

    Well it's complicated.

For example, with Directv NFL ticket combined with a Directv Genie DVR you can record 5 games or even more all at once depending on how new your genie DVR is. You can then go back and watch the games later on. Can fast forward through all the commercials also. It works for me.

If you need to do all that then it makes sense for you. I only get to watch 1-2 games a day of American sports, I am asleep during the games. I am up for my soccer though here.

We all knew this would happen. If YouTube thought people would pay nearly $400 a pop for this nonsense... they don't deserve to be in business. I hope they belly up the contract with the NFL.

DirecTV had ways to give you Sunday Ticket for Free. And they still made decent revenue.

I'm still trying to figure out what DirecTV will offer instead of Sunday Ticket now? Going to be interesting.

Again - if it's on FOX you can watch it on-line in high quality for free. All you need is an appropriate location IP address. Pretty much every quality VPN service has at least 6 US IP locations. Just click on to the FOX website and watch. No sign-up or id required. All you have to do is refresh your DNS cache or IP every hour. Connect your PC to your tv with an HDMI lead and you've got perfect quality tv.

I record games that I want to watch and have money on but I usually end up fast forwarding through them all to the 4th quarter and watch the game if it's a close game in the end.

No one has time to watch all the NFL games. Just saying with Directv NFL ticket and the Genie 2 DVR you can record all the games at once and just watch what you want when ever you want. Bypass all the worthless commercials. I love it. I'm spoiled like that.

It's hard to beat when compared to internet TV.

I think NFL gamepass also allows you to watch the games of previous week without the commercials. Then again why pay for these services when you can stream for free.

Redzone is like 8 bucks a month, why would I waste time with timeouts and commercials when I can get 7 hours of straight football action. I don't need to rip it off a stream for 8 bucks a month. Worth every penny.

Streams are so much slower than cable. 2-3 plays behind. Could be the difference between a good value live bet and overpaying.
Also I tried directvs streaming version of ticket once and to switch games it was archaic and slow.
Won’t pay any money until I see YouTube can fix both of those problems which I think faster than cable is impossible for them to do

The problem is, for good live betting, you really need to be focused on the apps, not the video. Even cable is behind. Watching the NCAA at Circa two weeks ago, or a few other casinos, the feed is still behind. Streaming is FURTHER behind, but they're all behind.

It's not bad. It's also not in the US. US DAZN doesn't have any "major" sports like those.

If you can watch through the US tv provider's official site i'd advise you to do so. FOX's internet stream is slightly AHEAD of the FOX tv output. I can't vouch for NBC, ABC, or ESPN as their official sites require you to identify your tv package, (and as i'm not in the US I can't comply). FOX is a worldwide freebie.
