Stop w your KKK horseshit. You over simplify your narrative by grabbing straws at an extremist group.
The 'KLAN' has existed in 3 separate eras. The post civil war era thru 1910, the peak era, 1920 thru WW1, and the modern era, about 1975 to present.
The 1st 2 incarnations were, based on political alignment, and based on an actual presence in Congress, Democrats. At the peak era KKK membership topped 20mm, and members held sears in both the House & Senate, as well as local government as well.
The 'modern' era is often described as 'right wing' except its not a political ideology of the Republicans as the Republican party had both black & gay members holding national & local level seats, and perhaps the biggest disassociation is that current KKK participation is, at best, limited to less than 6500 members in total. It's not a party, it's not an anything, because there really isn't enough participants to make it matter, because
Republicans and Conservatives don't share the same beliefs & ideological alignment as KKK members.

You'll see the Dems arguing for the 1st national income tax, wealth redistribution and complaining about the carowt baggers invading their sanctuary (again w the elite liberals always segregating themselves at the expense of orhers), and you'll see the Republicans defending States ability to govern locally w limited Federal interference.
