    Dems won the Civil War?

Didn't SC start the succession movement strictly on the premise that the Republicans were too 'radical' in their position regarding the Missouri compromise and the Texas/ Mexican territories compromise? Upon sweeping the 1861 election the Republicans controlled the fate of the unions westward expansion, which ment slaves were to be strictly limited to the 14 slave holding States, which were all run by Democrats, which later formed the CSA.

    LOL no I don't.

You are assigning geography to a political party, it's ideas, values & morals that make that party.

Your same Democrats fought the civil rights bill thru 1960s as well, only upon achieve the voting rights act under LBJ did the 'geography' change, and now the Democrats push to enslave blacks in cyclical poverty and replace Dad with Government....all whilst espousing centralized 'one size fits all' Government (like slavery for all) regardless of the practicality, viability, or reality of their ideology.

It's the same pathetic party based on poor ideas, not geography.

Hell, 50% of both the Union & the CSA moved west in the 100 years after the war.

You're being obtuse and you know it.

The terms "Democrat" and "Republican" are not binding. The members of each party has flipped 180 since the civil war.

Lincoln was a Republican in the 1800's but he represented todays Dems, or liberals.

Jefferson Davis represented the South, todays proud boys, trump strongholds, the confederacy, blah blah blah

The confederacy, the south, the pro-slave owners of those times are todays Republicans. And thats all that matters. Todays Republicans lost the civil war. Got teabagged, curb stomped, donkey-punched. And if we had civil war 2.0 it would happen again. Well, at least according to Minny. Because history repeats itself.

First & foremost with the concept of the Party's values, followed by his assertion that Republicans are racists when, in my experience, the biggest racists I've ever met are the wealthy white liberals who despite their rhetoric, wound not set foot in a black neighborhood nor allow a minority to live in theirs.

Describe for me, in your opinion, how the "parties flipped"?

It still makes absolutely zero sense to me.

A party founded on the basis that government should be local and not centralized, that States should enact laws that their citizens feel right and not DC, that all legal citizens should have a right to vote and not all aliens, that taxes should be low and the individual triumphs the Government....

Can you describe to me the notion that the parties flipped? Because, honestly, I don't see any flip, what I see is half the Democrat Party merging into the Republicans and the other half merging into the Socialist.

It is the lefties, who, because of 150 years of post civil war failure and inability to chalk up an ideological success (success different from a win, see SSI, MEDICARE, ETC), have drifted to the playbook of oblivion that socialts gave up on 40 years ago.

Stop w your KKK horseshit. You over simplify your narrative by grabbing straws at an extremist group.

The 'KLAN' has existed in 3 separate eras. The post civil war era thru 1910, the peak era, 1920 thru WW1, and the modern era, about 1975 to present.

The 1st 2 incarnations were, based on political alignment, and based on an actual presence in Congress, Democrats. At the peak era KKK membership topped 20mm, and members held sears in both the House & Senate, as well as local government as well.

The 'modern' era is often described as 'right wing' except its not a political ideology of the Republicans as the Republican party had both black & gay members holding national & local level seats, and perhaps the biggest disassociation is that current KKK participation is, at best, limited to less than 6500 members in total. It's not a party, it's not an anything, because there really isn't enough participants to make it matter, because Republicans and Conservatives don't share the same beliefs & ideological alignment as KKK members.

You'll see the Dems arguing for the 1st national income tax, wealth redistribution and complaining about the carowt baggers invading their sanctuary (again w the elite liberals always segregating themselves at the expense of orhers), and you'll see the Republicans defending States ability to govern locally w limited Federal interference.

Interesting points. Not sure I agree but respect what he's saying. And assuming he has no agenda, I would defer to him on the point.

However at the very end he says as southern racism has gone down, southern republicanism has gone up. But that doesn't mean racism in the South is by any-means at a low level of racism, just less than WW2 which isnt saying much. Also, cant say imply less racism = more republicans. Correlation =\= causation

Other than that, I enjoy what he's saying.

What don't you agree with? Is there something inaccurate with what he said? Why do you thing the votes went from 75% republican to 75% democrat in 4 years? Do you know something no one else does or is the talking point too strong to let go?

He definitely knows his stuff. He beats people up with facts rather than personal attacks.

Its just another prefect example of what the media does. They keep repeating a lie and before you know it, some of their viewers repeat it as fact. I mean, its a news network after all. LOL.

MSNBC and CNN hire openly racist Black hosts who fill their show with openly racist guests spewing racist nonsense. No one on the Left says fukk all about it. The democrats never denounce these racists. "If you can't decide whether to vote for me or Trump then you ain't Black!" Has the democratic party really changed from the KKK days all that much?

There is a BIG difference between northern blacks & southern blacks IMHO.

splitting time in mn & fl, Owning rentals in both, I will attest southern blacks are a generation, maybe 2 generations, AHEAD of Northern blacks in terms of civilized society, social norms, values, morals and educational opportunities.
