I've been to Atlanta.
Big city, major market.
Huge black population.
These are the facts.
60 percent of the city's neighborhoods are black.
25 percent are poor.
20 percent live in poverty.
(want more information go here

Atlanta is one of the poorest major cities in the good old U S of A
I believe in peaceful protest.
All for it, I'm all for "you got a beef, air it out"
Riddle me this?
How exactly is taking away a major three day event that would bring in a shit load of revenue to a city that desperately needs it by protesting?
What's the point, this protest will not solve the problem, it won't go away, and by doing this you are making this worse for the folks in Atlanta and Georgia.
Am I the only one who thought this trough?
Wouldn't it be a better idea be to keep the three dey All Star event in Atlanta Georgia, rake in all that revenue from mainly out of city rich white baseball fans who'll fly in to watch it, and while the All Star festivities are taking place peacefully protest to further the message?
Giving another city this revenue doesn't make sense.
You can move it Detroit, a black baseball city that could use the money. or maybe Miami, but they are a Latin population.
Manfred, his people, and others have not thought this through.
