    Clips are missing Beverly, sweet Lou and hazrell. That's their hustle, second unit scoring and toughness not to mention hazrell and Williams are the top 2 candidates for 6th man of the year.

    Everyone is on the Lakers so it's got a shot to cover. Maybe a backdoor cover in garbage time. I haven't looked at the ref assignments yet

    This isn't a must win game for the Lakers, home court doesn't mean anything now. Their main focus is to get in shape and stay healthy for the playoffs so we'll see ebbs and flows of their potential. They have a tendency to give up leads and points in bunches at times. Their biggest adjustment will be seeing how pope Caldwell or Caruso or whoever assimilates to the void left by Avery Bradley

    It's a good bet. THere's a conflict in Clipperland with the stars of yester-year (Williams/ Harrell) vs the stars of this year (Leonard/ George). This is the chance for the new stars of the team to show the other two are auxiliary pieces.

    The NBA is going to some effort to make give the home team an advantage - a very American idea if y'all don't mind me saying. Expect a lot of tacky fan noise through the speakers and some sort of background distraction when the "road team" is at the foul line.
