Wade Miley has gotten beat up by the Padres all season. The Dbacks haven't matched up well with the Padres. They are the thorn in their side. Local word is Wade has been dealing with a nasty sinus infection all week. I know when I'm feeling like shit and run down from a lack of sleep, I wanna face a team that I'm 0-4 against who is hitting .326 off of me with a 5.82 ERA. Throw in Gibby's incompetence and likelihood to manage himself out of a game, this is an easy play. For example, tonight he lets McCarthy pitch to Hundley with 2 outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd in a 1-1 game when Amarista is on deck and is 0 for his last 27. Hundley bombs a 3-run HR and Amarista comes up and hits a shallow fly out to RF to go 0 for his last 28. Gibby ball.

I'm also prob going to hit the Oakland A's first five when it's available. Griffin has been lights out since the All-Star Break, I just don't know how long the A's are going to let their starters go.
    Looks good. Get it.

I think the public has forgotten about the A's, they're still playing for the best record in the AL, they're only 1 game back of Boston, most underrated team in the AL. Josh Donaldson, yes Donaldson has a greater WAR than Miguel Cabrera...
Making up for an 0-2 day yesterday, hopefully I don't jinx you Nino. GL

Wow, I am on the total other side of the Pad bet.
    And we rarely disagree.

Feeling here is Snakes sticks get to Ross tonight, Miley comes out with a different approach this time.

Wish I saw this thread first, I am on 'Zona 1.5 *, not big.
The good news is, if I lose that game, you win.

You did good work all season, appreciate all your input.

    Well done sir

    Ross is a bum.

    Miley is a bum.

    Game is meaningless.

    Line indicates a toss-up.

Why are two sharp cats like you betting this one?

I trust him more than Cueto in this spot. Plus, I do not trust Dusty Baker. The way the Reds closed out the season at home was pathetic. Nothing about them looked like they are in it to win it.

Never anything wrong with fading Dusty. He's as bad as it gets among the "top" teams in baseball.

Agree on Oakland. Will look at it more, but seemed like Detroit coasted in a little, much as the Rays did. I can't back Salazar though. You never know if he will go 4 innings or 8. He's not a fully developed pitcher yet and I won't give him my $ in a huge game. Bullpen advantage/long relief has to go to the Rays, coaching the Rays, Tribe at home and swinging hot bats. Will most likely be a pass for me. Joe Maddon managed games are unwatchable from the 6th or 7th inning on with all the pitching changes. I will prob just watch hockey.

u know i didnt pay much attention down the stretch but salazar's peripherals look freaking amazing, i know he hasnt went deep but not like his pitch counts were through the roof, think they were just babying him..agree for most part on middle relief/pens but i think masterson will relieve salazar and can give them 3 innings and he pretty damn good..not sure what the kids makeup is but tampons havnt seen him and he has electric stuff it seems so if he can give cle 6 strong and hand off to masterson they could be tough..of coarse cobb has been pitching great as well, just kinda feeling the tribe vibe a little, even tho they were feasting off trash down the stretch to get here.. prob only way i bet them is if line keeps going up and we talking something over +110..

give me a hockey winner! i just realized right before hawks gm last night it was start of reg season, ending up taking hawks -.5 1st period, cashed that shit, lol..

Yeah, I know Masterson was in the closing role towards the close of the season due to Perez sucking balls. Salazar going 6 isn't a guarantee. Watched him get yanked after 4 innings 85 pitches and like 6K's, he does that and Maddon wins.

yea if we looking at his starts thus far clearly 6 isnt a certainty, way im looking at it is his pitch count wasnt absurdly high in any of those so see no reason in this gm the count goes up and he is allowed to use 100 pitches to get thru 5/6 if need be. think masterson is next man in and will go 2-3 innings if needed..i dunno man but not like cobb been in this kind of gm either so think it a little unfair for ppl to act like they dont know how this kid will handle the pressure cause the same could be said for cobb,, ganted cobb is more refined and he will go deeper i just think salazar+masterson can match cobbs output... that and i just have that feeling tribe gonna erase years of fan suffering much like buccos did yesterday..

Nolasco with a lot to prove, fading Lynn here. Donny Baseball is an idiot and the bullpen only has one lefty, so I'm using the FF here. Nolasco hasn't pitched in a while, I see them giving him a short leash, 6 innings max.
