Soccer has been very kind to me. I cashed a +820 underdog on the ML last weekend and I cashed the same team last night at +270. I don't even like soccer and was never really interested in it until this year but I'm actually doing well with it. It's probably because I know the least about it. LOL.
It's pretty awesome when you throw down $30 on a dog and the return is $246. Granted, you don't always want to take teams that are +800 but sometimes if pays to take a shot in a favorable situation. It's easier to lose a little trying to win a lot than losing a lot trying to win a lot.
As for the Superbowl tonight, I hate the Giants with a passion and want to bet the Patriots. That being said, it's hard for me to back a team with a horrible defense. The Giants are the more complete team. Their defense is a lot better and they have a lot of play makers on offense.
Watch New England win 27-25 and burry everyone that took New England -2.5 and everyone that took the Giants ML.
I'm looking into prop bets. Last year I cleaned up on prop bets. I had Jordy Nelson to score the first TD of the game at 7/1. I felt like a genius when it happened.
Overtime and a safety recorded in the game are interesting ones...
