One play in a huge boxing weekend

Narvaez-Whitfield Under 10.5 rounds , +220 and above available at most major books. 1 unit play. Various factors make the stoppage a good possibility when Georgia boy Whitfield travels to take on reliable, competent Argentinian southpaw champion in his backyard. Glad to share details if anyone gives a $%^

Try and slap down a few more for the weekend and see how it turns out...

I know it's a good play because he has a great rep and didn't say "lock"

Marcos Rene Maidana - +140 1unit. This Argentian monster is visiting Germany to take the title away from champion Kotelnik. He's fought in Germany 5 times and is backed by a German promoter. Classic puncher vs. boxer. A step up for him no doubt but he looks to be a bit special, 24KO's in 25 wins, stopping guys who know their way around the ring.

Carson Jones +700, half unit. Soto-Karass is basically Margarito-lite, a little slow and he can be outboxed but a fun, fan friendly style, tough as nails. SK spars with Margarito and has same trainer who is suspended and won't be in his corner. Jones is a somewhat unknown midwestern slickster who will be walking out the the same ring music that Mosley did to hammer Margarito. Worth a shot.

Kid Diamond(Raiymkulov) 2.5 units -200. .75-1 unit under 9.5 rounds +175. Big fan of DeMarco but he just gets hit too much and KD can crack and seems fine with southpaws, arguably beating (Draw) Joel Casamayor, Cuban Gold Medalist and one of the best fighter of this generation. KD in 8 or 9. Must watch on Showtime, Saturday night before Arce-Darchinyan main event.

Lean toward Dolan- British fight , bettable til 2pm PST. 5Dimes, Greek.
