The amount of logical fallacies in that post is ridiculous. Your obviously trying to hint that it's Tony Romo holding Dallas back. Thats jut stupid. 22 TD's and 9 picks ... i can think of alot of teams who would love to have that.

I will give you the Peyton portion, that cannot be refuted. But brady... i disagree with you on that one, but i guess we will agree to disagree on that one.

but regardless, im not arguing he's THE BEST. im saying he's top 5/6... along with those aforementioned and rodgers, breese.... and then him.... i really think he's 5. in no particular order... brady, manning, breese, rodgers, romo IMO.

It would be retarded for me to say it is absolutely 0 percent Romo's fault they keep losing, but to place all the blame on him is just biased hatred.

If Romo was truly a top 3 QB in the NFL, he would have dropped that pass in there on 3rd and 5 with just over two minutes left. Austin was wide open and Dallas should have won the game.

Instead, in typical Romo fashion, he launches the ball 30 yards down the field, overthrowing the receiver, and Dallas is forced to punt.

Then Eli showed Homo how to close out a game.

It's not all about td's and picks...there are a ton of intangibles one has or doesn't... these don't show up on stat sheets...for example...romo doesn't convert a 3rd down late in the game...gives the giants the ball...that doesn't show up but was one of the biggest reasons they lost the game...

a pass to run out the clock and beat the G-Men and COVER??

then doesn't that also include the intangibles such as the two offsides penalties on ware and the fumble with felix etc etc? those were just as huge...

Romo has the highest 4thQ. QB rating in NFL history. Cowboys up by 12 with 5 mins left... All on the defense. Romo put up 34 points .... all passing TD's. He has made plenty of clutch throws this season.

Terrance Newman is the biggest reason Dallas wont have any big success this season.

The amount of idiocy in this thread is staggering.

So Romo doesn't get credit for comeback wins because it means he doesn't play well enough early... but also doesn't get credit when he plays well early and puts his team in a position to win late. Gotcha.

Terrible defense, terrible kicker. Not much you can do, if your kicker can't kick or your defense can't stop anyone.

I love how Romo haters are resorting to using one incomplete pass(and not exactly a simple play either. Sure, the receiver was open, but the defender was still between Romo and the target meaning he had to drop it in... a throw good QB's make more often than not but still a throw that Brady or Brees or anyone misses somewhat regularly) as Romo's latest "Choke". Not an interception(Like Eli has thrown in a lot of big moments this year), or a fumble, or a botched snap, or a poor decision... an incomplete pass in a situation where their win probability went from .82 to .71(Though that's generic WP, not team specific which would probably skew things against my argument a bit)

Tonight's game was not lost because of Romo but neither did he put his team in a strong position to win the game. Yes, he struggled and fought, etc to set up the game-tying FG but that's the point in my opinion. If you scramble and struggle that many times you're bound to make poor decision/rushed throws and so on which Romo does. Eli was absolutely spectacular in this game and the DAL defence was brutal but Romo was not great. Moments of greatness, moments of poorness. I don't hate on Romo but neither do I put him in one of my "feel secure with this guy on the field" lists...Cheers

It wasnt an easy play??? How many chances do you get to throw the ball to a guy that has 2 steps on the defender??? Granted a blitz was on but it's the NFL...you make these plays to win games...or in romo's case you don't and lose them...

The only idiots in this thread are those that think he belongs in the top 3. This wasn't a big game?

How about this, since Romo has been in the league how has he done in the playoffs? Romo is a nice player when there's no pressure, but chokes under the pressure.

It's ok if you're a Romo homo, but please remove your head from your ass. Thanks.

The idiocy of some of these morons is unreal. The whole point is all the top 3 QB's in the league find a way to drop that pass in there.

Romo finds a way to fuk things up.

It's simple really, very few elite QB's in the NFL. Romo isn't one of them.
