I like the USF pick and the TCU pick. ND had difficulty against USF last year and USF has a good amount of speed on defense to help disrupt Kelly's offense. BJ Daniels is a boom or bust type of player and if he shows up to play, USF may sneak away with a SU win. I just don't think ND is fit to be a 13 point favorite over USF and I expect them to keep a closer game.
TCU may have lost Dalton and slew of other players but at the end of the day, this is still Patterson's program. He manages to recruit players year after year that fit his system perfectly and I don't expect this year to be any different. I expect Baylor to surprise a lot of people this year on both sides of the ball, but I really don't think they're going to do it against TCU. And for TCU to be minus less than 7, it would be really hard to make a case not to take them.
MTSU has screwed me in the past and they aren't as good of a team as I had given them credit for. Purdue isn't a good team either but I wouldn't be surprised if they blew MTSU out of the water for their opener.
