Kobe was the main foil to the Spurs during the championship years. I didn't like him for many reasons in that time.
I thought he was arrogant, but I respected his talent, ability, & will to win.

His personality seemed to change near the end of his career, & in his retirement he was doing some good things, helping people.
I was shocked & saddened to hear the news today.
