When do I hedge my Vikings future?

I have $50 to win $850 on the Vikings to win the Super Bowl. I think I'm going to let it ride against the Saints and then hedge if they make the Super Bowl. Thoughts?

If you like the Vikings, let it ride the whole way. Hedging is only to reduce variance if you can't afford to lose your EV.

why not throw 50 on the saints? If the vikes win you are still on your way to a good payday, even the saints win you cancelled out your future wager.

There is no way to hedge your bet without losing something

if you take No -3 1/2 and they win by 2 you lose $105

if you take No ml and Minn wins you lose $85 and then maybe $50

sit tight and let it ride this way you can only lose $50
