    Detroit sucks...

But that is way too many points.

Vikes do not strike me as a team who will blow other teams out.

I think Detroit shows up after getting blown out at home last week.

I don't foresee a time in the near future that I would lay my own money on the Detroit Lions; but if ever there were a time to go against that sanity, I would think it to be this week.

13.5 is a ton of points, especially for the Vikes to cover, but I'd stay away. Here's my reasoning:

Chicago, who is no offensive juggernaught in their own right, blew Detroit out of the water in their own home after a bye week.

I think the Lions have quit on Marinelli.

    BOL with whatever you decide!

I agree this is a difficult game to evaluate. The Vikings haven't put points on anyone. Even in the Saints game, the defense and special teams generated everything. But with AP, Chester, Berrian coming along it seems like the Vikes are gonna hang a whooping on someone and this might just be the weekend. Whatever you do, don't bet on the Lions, that's just insanity.
