Tell me why George Mason shouldn't win by +20 tonight?

Not saying Mason is my play, because I hate laying more than 15 (line is sitting on 16 now)
But looking at this game every which way, I don't see Mason NOT winning by less than 22, 23 points.

Tell me why George Mason shouldn't win by +20 tonight?

Not saying Mason is my best wager tonight because I hate laying more than 15 in any game (line is sitting on 16 right now), but after looking at this game versus Northeastern every which way, I don't see any reason why Mason doesn't win this by at least 23.

They will most likely cover. They have covered the spread 17 times out of their 23 wins.

Ok starting off G. Mason has become an ATS POWER-HOUSE covering their last 14 games in a row and 21-5 ATS overall this year. Also, they've covered with very notable wins against teams that are good, i.e: Duquesne, ODU, James Madison(2 times)and @ VCU...point being, regardless who they play, they seem to bulldoze their competition whether it be a lower-tier or top tier team....

Now case in-point, NEastern is defenitly not a top-tier team that they once sort-of were...making the big tourney a couple times, in the NIT, ect,ect....OK....the thing is even tho this team has a losing record (10-18) they are still 13-12 against the spread...most notable covers: @ Utah St(they were getting 16 and lost 54-56! by 2!)....@ Princeton(who is top of ivy league/undefeated @ home); they were getting 4.5 and lost by 2;63-65...@ James Madison. who is a strong 11-3 @ home a powerhouse of their own, covered getting 8.5 losing by 6...covering @ VCU getting 12 but losing 64-73...losing to @Hofsta 75-78, where they were getting 6....Point is....this team plays tough no matter home, but i would say more tough on the road.....

FUN FACT: OUT OF 15 AWAY GAMES THEY'VE ONLY LOST A GAME BY MORE THAN 16 PTS ONE TIME!!!!/1 TIME!!!

Note: Not to mention as this past Saturday they were @ UNC Ashville(who the hell knows who they are, anyways) but were LEADING N.Eastern 44-27 @ half. What does N.E do? score 56 pts in the 2nd half and win the game on the road!!!

Now you say what does that mean....G. Mason should blow them out of the water, it's senior night for them, there on an incredible run and really playing for something here....well there are history between these two teams and keys for N. Eastern to TRY and win as they have 4 senior's as well...

the following are notes found on the N.Eastern Athletic site:

    HISTORY
The Huskies return to conference play with a trip to Fairfax, Va., to take on league-leading George Mason in Northeastern’s final CAA road game of the season. The Huskies are looking to salvage a split in the regular-season series after falling to the Patriots in Boston on Jan. 12. George Mason has not swept the regular-season series with Northeastern since 2005-06, the year the Huskies first joined the CAA and the Patriots reached the Final Four. George Mason holds a 9-8 edge in the all-time series, which dates back to 1990, and Northeastern’s current seniors are 4-4 against the Patriots in their careers, which includes a loss to George Mason in the 2008 CAA Tournament.

KEYS TO THE GAME FOR N. EASTERN
-Northeastern’s starting guard trio of Chaisson Allen, Jonathan Lee and Joel Smith have become a key to the Huskies’ success and their recent emergence has coincided with Northeastern’s late-season improvement. Northeastern is 7-3 when all three score in double figures, which they have done in eight of the last nine games
-Spreading out the offense has been a key to success for the Huskies this season. In six of Northeastern’s 10 wins this season, the Huskies have had four players score in double figures. Senior guard Chaisson Allen has scored in double figures in every Northeastern win this season. The Huskies are 6-3 when four or more players score in double figures.
-The Huskies have shot 44.2 percent from beyond the arc in wins, and are shooting just 34.4 percent from three-point land in losses. The Huskies are 9-7 when shooting over 35.3 percent from beyond the arc and 1-11 when shooting under 35.3 percent.
-The Huskies are 0-7 this season when scoring 60 points or fewer and have lost their last nine games overall when scoring 60 or fewer. Northeastern’s last win without hitting 60 points came on Feb. 27, 2010, in a 50-48 win at George Mason.
-The Huskies are 31-6 (.838) since the start of the 2007-08 season when holding an opponent under 40 percent shooting. This season, though, Northeastern is just 1-3 when it held its opponent to under 40 percent field goal shooting.

BIG PLAY ON N.EASTERN tonight for me (10x)

Great write up. NE hasn't gotten blown out on the road lately and could keep it within the number tonight.

Reason why I don't like laying 16 is, if GM is up 13 with the ball with 70 seconds left, NE isn't fouling them.
GM will just let air out of the clock.
    Seen that so many times.

I don't know, I like that tease 'em down angle with Cleveland State. (who should get it done easily against Wisc-Milw.)

I got Cleveland State by 14.
I use Dunkel's numbers, I look at Sagarins numbers, but Sagarins numbers are usually equal to Vegas's numbers.
I 'cap with guards first, then pivot, then the trends, like H/A, ATS........
Nothing fancy, just A-B-C handicapping, but it works for me.

Yeah, I like Cleveland State by dd's.

    i found this write up:

CSU needs a win to stay in the
pole position for hosting duties at next week’s Horizon Tourney. But Milwaukee on 7-game Horizon win streak and is playing much better than in early December, when Vikings hit 64% from floor (30 of 47) and from tripleville (14 of 22) in their 82-59 romp. Bruising Panther sr. PF Anthony Hill (21.5 ppg last 6) on a rampage in recent weeks, and CSU has no covers its last 3 after getting whipped at Old Dominion Sunday in BracketBuster action.

I agree with your N'east play Fr3sh and nice writeup. My hat is off to Mason for being the runaway train ATS this year. They have been the over-achiever of the year and have cost me on a couple of other occasions. They may get me again, but I agree that although N'east hasn't won much on the road, they have been competitive. I see them keeping it under the 16.

    Cleveland St is one player.

I cant lay points, and depend on one player to score 40 in order to cover.

I watched the ODU vs Cleveland St game. Norris went for 35, Cleveland St. only chance. Final score 63 - 74 ODU.

If somebody on your team goes for 35, and you dont cover either half or game spreads. I cant fuk with ya.

With almost 80% of bets on GM and line movement from -16.5 to -15.5, it's either NE or nothing for me, and I can't bet on NE. I'm looking at other games. Good luck to you all who play it.

I have Northeastern +24 in a teaser... It's hard to beat a team by 26 twice in one year. They've won 6 of their last 9, and coming back to win that last game may give them some confidence early

Weird you brought that up lol. I'm trusting this individuals knowledge and placing my faith in him as I'v parlayed Northeastern +16 and Cleveland State -8.5. I like these two plays.
