SSK's NBA Thread
We all know how good I do in the NFL.
But the NBA is my main game. I know it inside out.
I'll post my picks in this thread. I'm basically the best handicapper on SBR for the NBA for those that don't know. Enough said.
Let the $$$ start.
We'll start with 100 units for the season.
My 1st bet will be:
Lakers -320
Win 10 Risk 32.5
Really confident they will win.

Well I'm off to a head-start in the NBA. I knew the Lakers would win.
But just to get it clear, I don't make bets like this often. But just wanted to get a head-start for the NBA season.

And like I just said, I don't bet like this often. It's just a Season-Opener thing.
risking 32 units to win 10 isn't really smart gambling. Win or lose. Period.

You are the Best NBA Capper on SBR? Are you a ghost? Cause you joined 2 MONTHS ago.... Have you seen any threads by lakerboy, sweetjones, sawyer, etc etc? There are many guys that have been doing VERY well for YEARS.

I think you have the wrong guy. Because I count all my bets no matter what happens. And if by "imaginary" you mean another game I will actually post (but not bet), then thats okay.
So let me get this straight...
You are the "best NBA capper here", yet you bet 32% of your bankroll on the Lakers ML on opening night when they were without Bynum, had Kobe playing with a bum knee, and were against one of the better backcourts in the league? Possibly the dumbest pick (and money management) I've seen, regardless of the outcome.

Great teams just tend to win close games? Did you expect Houston to dominate that game? What happened to Boston in Cleveland?
Not the dumbest reason for me. I'm 8-0 ML Life Season Openers. They are my thing.
I bet on Boston too. But not a big ML because they weren't at home, and the crowd can have some affect.
Either way, good luck to the rest of your season, but I guarantee you will have no where near the success I will have this year. I can already tell you will make a lot of mistakes and miss many easy bets.

You a clearly a rookie to the NBA. Please be smart and keep your bet sizes in check with your total bankroll so you don't go broke, assuming you are betting real money of course.
In case you didn't know, Boston and Cleveland are the names of 2 different cities in America. Thus logically, Boston can't be at home in Cleveland. And it doesn't take a genius to figure that out.
I'll give more general knowledge lessons later. But it seems you have a lot to learn.

Here is the reason why I can tell you are not a real capper. And I think all real cappers would agree with me here. YOU ARE RIDICULOUSLY RESULTS ORIENTED!!! One game means shit, the W or L doesn't mean anything at all. BUT, one thing you can tell after a game is, what the right side was. As you should know, the right side does not always win. The Lakers were def not the right side that game. If you played that same exact game 100 times, there is no possible way you finish up laying 360 on the ML, or whatever ridiculous line you laid.
