Spurs are the most complete team in the league. Also the best coached team.

Three teams come to mind: Spurs, Mavs, Jazz.

I picked the Spurs because they are the hottest team right NOW. It will come down to either them or Dallas, as no one else comes even close. That's right, not even Phoenix, as a team that plays no defense has no right playing in the NBA Finals.

Hopefully Houston, I have 20 to 1 futures riding on it... But San Antonio's looking strong.

I think Houston can make a lot of noise in the post season, but seeing as how theyre playing as of late, it's hard to not like the Spurs this year.

    Jazz record versus:

Mavericks 1-1 (won by 22, lost by 3)
    Suns 3-0
    Spurs 2-2
    Rockets 2-1

Best coach in the league in my opinion, best PG in the league outside Nash, and deeper than anyone besides Dallas.

Razz, you are kidding right? If not, put some money on the Jazz to go to the finals... That is only if you don't like money.

Yeah but Utah's too young. In the playoffs, it's all about experience and good team ball. As of late, Utah doesn't have either.

WTF? Mavs are the clear cut fav to win the West IMO..

Spurs are always dangerous though.. I'll be rooting for the Suns cause they are so damn fun to watch and Shawn Marion is the most underrated player in the NBA..

    Good points Razz.

Playoffs are different from regular season games though. I think this is now or never for the Suns, Nash isn't getting any younger next season. I expect a superhuman effort from him and the whole team. They've got the necessary playoff experience now too and actually play some defence, surely better than last two years.

SA aren't so hungry for success anymore.

Dallas may again crumble to pressure, the long hands of the commissioner may play their part too.

I see Dal & Dirk choke again when the pressure is on
SA is usual solid self peaking at right time
Phx has Amare back could be the x factor
Hou w/ Tmac & Yao they can beat anybody any given nite

I think the Suns run & gun to the title this year

Suns have no shot of beating SA. Can't wait for for them to meet in the second round. I am going to unload on the Spurs to win that series - easy money.

Shawn Marion can not be underrated anybody that shoots the ball with form like that in the NBA deserves to be shot. I am just kidding he is a great player, but I HATE the way he looks shooting. The Spurs have to be the favorite, because out of all the teams in contention this year in the West they have the experience the players that have been there and done that. Dallas has to be second even though they looked bad in their last two matchups against Phoenix they know how to win in playoffs though and have defense something Phoenix lacks. That of course means I have the Suns as the third place team. A close fourth though is the Jazz who although they have played great against the elites during the regular season being as young as they are they are it will be tough to go deep. Coaching is huge in the postseason though and there is no denying that Sloan is one of the greatest of all time.

The spurs are the best team in the league. Whether or not they can get through three tough series I don't know. Right now their path would look to be: Denver, Phoenix, Dallas... Dallas would get Golden St, (Hou/Uta winner), then (Spurs/Suns winner).

Utah's been absoultey terrible the last month. They will lose to Houston in the first round.

I just don't see Phoenix beating the Lakers, Spurs, and Mavs, so really I think it comes down to San Antonio and Dallas and I expect that to be the finals matchup.

the spurs will definitely win the west. if you think utah is going to top any of the big three, it's just crazy, ak and boozer have no playoff experience. if you think tmac and yao can carry the rockets, let us not forget that their offence is run by a drug addict ex and1 hack of a pg not to mention van gundy is too caught up in his own personal "beautiful struggle." maybe he should talk to yoda. suns got no D and dallas is not ready yet. in the east however, the toronto raptors will go to the eastern conference finals and take the pistons to 7 games. this is a certainty.
