    Atlanta bet stung. I really want to see what Vogel did there in the second half. You wouldn't happen to know where I can view a full-game recording for free (can't be NBA LP...)?

    All in all that was a perfect way to spent trivia points. Two coinflips that landed the way I needed and just one more that seemed like a sure thing but ended up sooo far from it.

    Three huge spreads tonight. Do you have any idea how quickly Al usually recovers from his chronic foot injury? Can't fully rebound in just 48 hours can he?

    I had this conversation with a 'colleague' at halftime of game 1. I asked him: If you are the Bobcats, and you know Jefferson can't go longer than another quarter in the second half... do you save him for 4Q or do you run him down in 3Q and hope to build a lead (or at least not get raped until as late in the game as possible)?

    He said: clearly, play him 3Q. If you fall behind too much against he Heat, the damage is done and the game is over.

    I then waited for a few minutes as Charlotte hung tough and hedged my pregame +10.5 bet and managed to get some more of Miami -6.5. Jefferson exited the game soon thereafter and it was never as close as the final score indicates.

    Conclusion: if you want to play Charlotte, take them for first half only. Once Jefferson starts limping, it's good night Bobcats, again.
