    It's amazing the kind of live lines books throw out there

    OKC was +300 just a few minutes ago, only down 7. Now Denver's +200 down 1. Given the wild swings in the NBA, you'd figure these books would keep it a little closer to the vest and not offer such incredible numbers both ways.

    The problem is the other side...u cant keep one side at +150 and the other at -350 or 400. No body likes to lose and that includes the books

    I bet OKC and cashed my ticket just by waiting live. I swear, live betting is the way to go. There have been multiple times when I have had both teams at + money on the ML.

    You knew this game would come down to the wire. People could have easily hit both sides.

    I'm actually surprised the sharper books even offer a live ML. They should just stick to sides. Given the way the NBA operates, seems like there would be multiple chances at getting a hefty + number on both sides of a game like this before all is said and done.

    Sometimes you can even get one team +120 their opponent +140 on two different books at the exact same time. Crazy sport.

    I really feel like this is the only way to bet the NBA.

    I have a lot of success doing it but I'm not patient enough to wait for good spots like tonight. Hell, some nights I'll hit like three live bets on the same game.

    I grabbed the 1st half under at 110.5 and it went under easily. Then I grabbed OKC +6 and didn't really even have to sweat the final three minutes.

    I hit 4 out of 5 live lines today. Had Den +4.5, Okc +7, Okc +3.5, Okc/Den over 207 1/2, and Okc/Den over 214 1/2 . Lost my original bet on OKC/ Den over 217

    Yeah, that's the thing that sucks a/b my local - his website offers live lines so sparingly. It pops up every couple of games and then for only about 30 seconds at a time. I had OKC over also but was able to hedge it with OKC +3.5 live at some point in the 4th.

    I tried getting Denver at +1.5 when OKC took the lead late, but the line at BOL disappeared.

    Personally dont like live betting, always get buried off that shit. Try to just use it for hedging really

    I see they had Miami 6.5 when it was a 2 pt game late in fourth. 98-91 Miami, go figure right

    After live betting, I would say 2nd half lines seem to be the next less efficient. I guess props would go before that but the limits are so low.

    Well the thing is like 5dimes limits you to $500 in Live bets atleast me so they do it for fun/customer service. Atleast for 5dimes the bets are chump change.

    I'd like to know what the limits are at the sharper books.

    Like I said earlier in this thread, the lines they put out there are ridiculous and I'm surprised they even offer a live ML (vs. just a spread). To have the Heat at +400 when they're only down 7 and still have half of the fourth quarter to go is just insane.
