actually NBA League Pass is very unreliable, check out Ball Streams every game is in HD, it's half the price of LP, stream on just about any device all 30 teams are available to watch, no stupid blackouts like LP, you can watch archived games etc. I gave it a chance cause I was looking for an alternative to NBA LP and someone else mentioned it, the service has been great. stream games from your mobile too and the quality on there is also in HD for ALL games Originally Posted by cind3r

Originally I had a small lean towards Philli, however after additional research I now realize that the Wiz are actually a strong play in this spot, especially as the line has now come into 9. It just seems so foreign asking the Wiz to lay 9 points, but once you get past that it looks like a solid play. This may actually be one of the few times this season that Philly doesn’t get a double digit start on the road and in reality if not for that shock home win over the Heat (the Iverson factor)? and the Wiz playing below their best on opening night than the line would most definitely be double digits (as it would be for Philly on the road against any playoff caliber team). Assuming Nene plays, however with Gortat now in the team it would not be as a big of a deal if he doesn’t suit up.

Lakers were great against the Clippers, so I played them next game and they bombed.Warriors were great against Lakers, so I played them the next game and they also bombed. Clippers were great against Kings, so……. In all seriousness I’m very big on the Kings as a home team, I was last season and I am even more so this season, however after really playing rather average through the pre season and of course opening night, the Clippers finally turned up yesterday against the team that many actually have picked to make the WCF (as crazy as that sounds) and they destroyed them, the Warriors were literally never in the game. With Doc Rivers as the coach there is no way I think he will let that momentum slide as they head to Sac Town for their next rivalry game. Doc is never happy, he was barking at everyone yesterday in the 4th(even CP3) despite the Clippers having the game totally wrapped up. While I don’t expect the Clippers or CP3 to be anywhere near as good as they were yesterday, I still think they have enough to cover 3.5 points. (I graded this line @ Clippers -5.5). This game is very likely to become a shoot out and the Clippers simply possess superior firepower, especially with Jamal Crawford looking the way he did yesterday, I cannot see any Kings guard being able to stop him getting his shot off and when Jamal fires the Clippers are at their best. Plus I should begrudgingly admit I was wrong about Griffen - he looks like he has indeed seriously worked on his lost post game over the summer.

Lakers will get their points today. They will not shoot 39% from the floor again (and still they put up 94 despite playing horribly). D’antoni high octane offensive strategy works best without a central focus point (Howard) and to a lesser extent Kobe (although at least he still facilitates). While the Lakers will probably be even worse defensively this year they will almost certainly be top 10 in most major offensive categories, and with Duncan out (who is still a very solid post defender) there should be more high % points in the paint for the Lakers (especially Gasol who has struggled with Duncan in the past).Points Awarded:

Ok well I'm officially ice cold to start the NBA season, the complete opposite of last year when I started red hot. Anyway I will persevere and fight my way back into the black.
For now - I would recommend stay away - at least until I get my mojo back...

We're going to need a 115 half. I would say that is very unlikely no matter what the pace is and how many good shooters are out there. Kings don't really have guys who can knock down 3 after 3, maybe Thornton but he's real hot and cold. So we're really hoping for Curry and Thompson to put on a clinic. Could happen, but yes, very unlikely. Think I'll be on the 2nd half over.
