    Well done mate.

Sadly, I did chase Hull -2 after loosing roos half time ML, ML by 1 point, warriors over by 2 points. But that's how this games goes.

Sando and Manly to the rescue.

Wow the Blues. The difference between their best and worst is almost as bad as North themselves. I’d be wary for those that are automatically moving into “Fade North” mode. Finals might be officially over for the Roos, but they won’t stop playing. Probably best to just look for other opportunities from here, there’s plenty of games every week.

    AFL
    Port @ St Kilda
    3* Port-2.5 ($2.01 Pinnacle)
    1.1* Over 182.5 ($1.88 Sportsbet)

More leg speed and the fitter team, with young guns Wingard, Wines, Pittard and also Ebert and Boak giving Port a clear advantage in the midfield and they also look to have too many options up forward for the Sainters defence. All 6 Port forwards are capable of kicking 2+ goals and just too many mobile tall targets I suspect for the often static Saints defensive line. Waters has admitted the Saints are in development mode. Port have a lot more to play for.

    Western Bulldogs @ Hawthorn (Hobart)
    1.5* Under 190.5 ($1.90 Luxbet)
    1.1* Dogs +60.5 ($1.93 Bet365)

    Brisbane @ Melbourne (Darwin)
    1.5* Lions 1-39 ($2.15 Luxbet)

    Adding...

0.25* Port (to win by) 40+ ($8.20 Luxbet)

    NRL

    Knights @ Panthers
    2* Knights m/l ($1.92 Luxbet)

    Sharks @ Roosters
The general consensus surrounding this game seems to be
"The Sharks can cover for the loss of Gallen and Lewis with the overall strength of their forwards"
"The Roosters will be flat with 4 players backing up from origin"
"Pearce and Maloney will not have their minds on the job after poor Origin campaign's"
"The Sharks ATS are clearly the best bet of the round"
I disagree with every one of those sentiments.
The only thing I do agree with, is the consensus that this game will be a defensive grind and the total is too high. It may open up a bit in the 2nd half and I wouldn't be surprised if the Sharks get buried, however the 1st half should be played tough by both sides.
    1.5* Under 36.5 ($1.91 Bet365)

    Parra @ Canberra
From a statistical point of view, everything points to a complete annihilation for the Eels, making the massive 18 point start actually pretty good value on the Raiders. This sort of line is what you see regularly in Super League (where the gulf between the top and bottom teams is extreme) but rarely in the NRL where the comp is a lot more even, however Parra is not up to 1st grade standard at the moment and would not even beat the Raiders un-stoppable U20 team here in Canberra with this list. The Raiders just keep unearthing star after star. Dugan, then Fergie, followed by Pappali and Robinson and now the latest prodigy emerging from their U20's team in 19 year old Anthony Milford, giving the Raiders the most potent fullback combo the game has seen in some time with Milford and Robinson. Who needs Dugan...
    3* Raiders -18 ($1.95 Pinnacle)
1* Matt Keating Over 31.5 tackles ($1.80 Luxbet)

    Sharks @ Roosters
    1* Fifita Over 140.5 metres ($1.88 Sporsbet)
Arguably the league's hottest forward, coming off a brilliant Origin camping and no Gallen or Lewis for the Shark's means Fifita is the main man today.

Probably just sees the Eels doing a ton of defending.

    Blackbooker (one to follow)

Collingwood have consistently struggled to contain opposition small forwards.

    I've taken:

    Aaron Hall
(over 1 goal) @ 2.10 with Luxbet (1 goal and you push)
    (2 or more) @ 2.40 with bet365
    (3 or more) @ 6 with bet365

    Stats

    R16 v ADE: Porplyzia 3.1
    R15 v CAR: Garlett 2.0
    R14 v PTA: Monfries 2.0
    R12 v WBU: Giansiracusa 2.0 (as sub)
R11 v MEL: Davey 2.1 (out of 5 goals total)
    R10 v BRI: McGrath 3.1
    R9 v SYD: McGlynn 2.0
    R8 v GEE: Christensen 2.0, Motlop 2.3
    R7 v FRE: Walters 4.2

    Food for thought.

would have had to check into a mental asylum if Port had lost that. between Norf last night, the over in the wests-warriors, the Raiders and then potentially Port losing, I would have had a fit. Just shows how unbelievable Sando's been to last so long doing this!

Widnes covered easily and my huge play came in. Hull were awful in attack and Peter gentle the coach called them brain dead after the game should of won comfortably if we had a half back, miller who recently joined from west tigers was very poor, he's a top lad tho, met him at the airport after catalan vs fc last week and seems switched on and knows his stuff, hopefully he can have a big year next year with a full preseason under his belt.

Finally tomorrows play is hull kr+16 at warrington. Hull kr have been in fantastic form in June/July, winning 5in a row. Warrington will be looking towards next weeks massive cup semi against hull fc, hull FC's season depends on next week and warrington will have to be a their best to win next week, however I still expect warrington to win tomorrow but only by a max of12. Hull kr can score points and with their improved defence in recent weeks I see a tight game here. Only a unit play nothing big but worth a go.

Weather today in Adelaide is set to be pretty bad, Ive just looked up forecast around the west lakes area and there's strong winds, chance of hail and rain patterns predicted throughout the game. Should also be another cold day, yesterday was icy and some parts of SA got snow, todays heading for a top of 13 degrees.
    Adelaide VS Geelong
