F*ck I missed the Errani match! Damn these time zones are killing me. Didn't realize the start time!

So I guess the ATP/WTA posts times in local match times?...

Wait, I did bet on Errani earlier in the day. Awww man I'm falling apart here. Gotta keep better track. Geez...

FYI I think Sando added this pretty recently and I think it starts in 10 minutes

    Falla v Zmelja
    Over 22 (-104, $1.96 Pinnacle) 1.5x
*Zmelja was favorite but he is recovering from fever and massive late steam crunched Falla into favoritism. Falla lost 4 in a row against big servers and 4 of last 5 as a favorite, yet he has a bunch of nice wins lately as a dog, hmmm...? Spent so much time on this game, I'm not sure why I am so interested in it, but to me the match could go either way, yet I can't really see either guy winning in straight sets. Should be tight and at the worst 1 tiebreak in straight sets match should cash/push.

    Pending Bets...

    Soeda v Giraldo
    Soeda m/l (+118, $2.18 Pinnacle) 1x - Loser (no-Go Soeda)

    Paire v Lu
    Paire m/l (+127, $2.27 Pinnacle) 1.5x - Pending

    WTA Sydney

    Errani v Kirilenko
    Errani -3 (-115, $1.87 Sportingbet/Centrbet) 2x - Cash it. (6-1 6-1)!
*Love Errani in this spot. She is the female version of Ferrer. A hustler, a grinder, all court game, great temperament (yet she's Italian). If we had of been able to get on better odds I would have gone larger, but sadly I am not the only one who like Sara here and she has been crunched (-117 into -181).

Sara Errani has won 10 of last 11 when priced as Favourite (-200 to -101).

    Sara Errani leads series 3-1

    Keys v Zheng
    Keys m/l (+105, $2.05 Luxbet) 2x
*Let's keep rolling with the golden girl. Beating Stosur (Zheng) is not that big a deal at the moment, besides you could say that Stosur actually beat herself. Keys being young and hence unpredicatble stops me from getting overexcited against a seasoned tour vet, however she is in the better form I would say and appears to be starting to live up to her potential.

    WTA Hobart
    Stevens v Halep
    Stevens 2-0 (or -1.5 sets) (+125, $2.25 IAS/Sportsbet/Luxbet) 1x

    ATP Auckland

    Haase v Sjisling
Sjisling -3 (+102, $2.02 Pinnacle) 2x - Loser. (Won the match but lost the cover by 1 game, losing the first set killed us).

    The battle for Amsterdam...

Robin Haase has lost 9 of last 10 overall.
Robin Haase has lost 4 of last 5 on Hard Court.
Robin Haase has lost 6 of last 7 at ATP level.
Robin Haase has lost 4 of last 5 when Opponent is a Fellow Countymen.
Robin Haase has lost 13 of last 14 when priced as Underdog (+100 to +200).
Igor Sijsling has won 5 of last 6 in Oceania.
Igor Sijsling has won 5 of last 6 when Opponent is a Fellow Countymen.

    Monfils v Becker
    Becker +2.5 (Evens, $2.00 Bet 365) 1x
*Becker playing great, underrated as a player. Monfils appears rusty from long injury layoff. Over looks ok if you can't play games lines.

    Rochus v Querry
    Querry 2-0 (or -1.5 sets) (-109, $1.91 IAS/Sportsbet) 1x
*David v Goliath match up. Fail to see how Rochus can challenge Sam on serve. Should be comfortable straight sets for Sam IMO, even if it is his first match of the season.

    Falla v Zmelja
    Over 22 (-104, $1.96 Pinnacle) 1.5x - Cancelled.
*Zmelja was favorite but he is recovering from fever and massive late steam crunched Falla into favoritism. Falla lost 4 in a row against big servers and 4 of last 5 as a favorite, yet he has a bunch of nice wins lately as a dog, hmmm...? Millman +3 (-111, $1.89 Pinnacle) 1x - Cash it.
(He actually won in straight sets)
So so start to the day in tennis, 2-2-1 so far, about even. I'm an idiot for not going larger on Errani as I suggested. Was the strongest tennis play I have found this year but didn't like how much the odds had come in. Also had a bit of luck with Zmelja retiring in the Falla match. You need a bit of luck now and again. It's not like we don't have plenty of those situations go against us.

Was waiting for some input from some respected cappers.

Alas, no one said anything so I passed.

I figured that Wozniaki wouldn't be 100%, especially in this heat. Also, wasn't she involved in some racial slur recently? She's shown in the past that she lacks killer instinct, getting to #1 without winning a major.

As for Date-Krumm, she showed that even at her age (49 or something), she can play (albeit against another Aussie chop in Dellacqua) and 6 games is a huge start in a potential 2 set match.

Let me know what you think next time Thorny.

This time last year Wozniacki was still #1, but you're right, not winning a major has caught up and 2012 was a plunge. I think she will drop in ranks some more.

The racism thing, I think you may be referring to her impersonation of Serena back in Dec. She stuffed her skirt and top with padding to make if look curvaceous like Serena for her impersonation. Don't think it was racist, nor did Serena, but that's just PC these days...

    NBA Tuesday

    Miami @ Indiana
    Pacers +3 (-108, $1.92 IAS/Sportsbet) 2x
    Pacers m/l (+127, $2.27 Luxbet) 1x
*Pacers are 12-3 at home and are playing their best basketball of the season lately. Paul George has come of age and it is undeniably his team now. George Hill was a great pickup at the pg spot and he is running this offence smoothly, they seem to have put their early season offensive woes behind them lately. Miami on the other hand is not playing well, especially on the road where they are 7-6 this season. They are 3-3 over their last 6 games, but that could so easily have been 1-5 as they were very lucky to escape with wins over both Orlando and Dallas. This team (like the Lakers and Celtics) is living off reputation at the moment. Of course they have the potential to be absolutely great, but at the moment they are not by any means and Indiana is clearly playing the superior ball. Don't forget Miami is the team that knocked the Pacers out of last year's playoffs so there it is likely this game means a lot more to the Pacers than it does to the Heat. The Pacers snatched a game in Miami last year (East Semi's) and headed back to Indiana with the series at 1-1 before they crushed the Heat at home to take a 2-1 series lead. Bankers Life fieldhouse was buzzing with the hype of a massive upset in game 4 but the Heat got their act together to reel of three straight wins and close out the series. Lebron is banged up at the moment, and D-Wade has shown nothing more than occasional glimpses of his true self this season. Indiana is a big strong team, the exact sort of team the Heat have been known to have struggles against (think Memphis), Miami being undersized with Lebron playing the 4 and Bosh playing the 5.

    LA Lakers @ Houston
    Rockets -7.5 (-110, $1.90 Luxbet) 1.5x
*This line is getting crunched. Act fast if you like it, will be minimum -8 by game time.

    Brooklyn @ Philly
    76'ers -1.5 (-108, $1.92 IAS/Sportsbet) 1.5x

    Under 187 (-106, $1.94 Pinnacle) 1x

Can't agree with you on the Sixers mate. Nets been playing much better basketball since Johnson was fired and Sixers just came home off two weeks road trip - probably haven't seen their family for Christmas and New Year.
I think they will come today as flat as ever any team came off a long road trip.
Haven't taken the bet yet, but very strong lean towards the Nets.
