if a team is in a bad spot and lacks effort and we all know there are these kind of games. where do teams lack more intensity on defense or on offense? i feel they would allow more easy buckets or not? or is it team based and cannot be generalized?

Guarding active players (Crawford, Bryant) becomes a nightmare and even chasing players that move well without the ball (Ray Allen), chasing them around screens, etc, everything becomes more difficult. Whereas on offense, even if you are tired, if you find yourself with a wide open look, or a clear path through the lane you will always find that mini surge of enegy required to get the shot off or finish at the rim, etc.

Re: the Lakers game, now that D'antoni has taken over you will unlikely find too many totals this season under 200, especially against West coast teams. It will take Boston, Philly type games to keep Lakers totals under 200 IMO?

okay thanks. trying to pick up info whereever i can, cannot watch any games other than day games sometimes. didnt know that a coaching change can change the total by that much. trying to get a grasp on basketball betting, trying to understand in which type of games it is more likely to be high scoring etc.
my moneymaker is usually tennis as i know how to bet there, the unique scoring system in tennis gives you lots of opportunities as well as that it is a single-player sport, that can give you a lot of nice spot bets.

I hope it is. LTA was a super cool, very good handicapper that had too many jealous people following him. If a guy has ability and wants to share it with others, man the best thing to do is appreciate it and take the good with the bad.

Right now I have the knicks and lakers in a parlay at -5 each and lakers by themselves at -5 (bought hooks and bought down the knicks line to -5 in-case its closer than I expect). Since placing my bets, I see both lines have moved up knicks now -7 and lakers -6. My thoughts are that people are expecting a knicks blow-out? I can easily see a 101-82 type of score in favor of the knicks. Afterall the knicks D is fairly solid, and the Hornets have struggled against defensive minded teams (ex: sixers). Anyway, initially, I liked the over, but I am going to stick with my Knicks + Lakers ATS plays. Im more curious now to see how this plays out now, best of luck to everyone though, you've def been on the money this season.
