Lebron James was 10-22/8-13 on ft's/0-4 on threes and -7.

kobe was 9-25/2-2 on ft's and 0-6 on threes and +5.

Tell me what there is to talk about?

When you have 5 rings you get some leeway.

kobe was 0-5 with a crucial turnover with 0 rebounds, 0 steals, 0 assists in the final 6:30 and let his team blow the 6 point cushion they had at that point

Kobe fukked up tonight but Lebron missed two huge free throws last night. Dlunc, no one guards you on free throws in case you didn't know.

Lebron also had a chance with the ball in his hands and passed to Wade but I'm not putting that on James. Didn't Lebron get the shit blocked out of him twice last night in the fourth as well?

Lebron was something like: 4 points, 3 steals, 2 rebounds, 1 assist with a few missed fts in the final 7 minutes while keeping his team within 3 points.... yet still he wasnt good enough and should get some heat..

Kobe was 0-5 with a crucial turnover... no steals, rebounds or assists... just completely invisible while allowing his team to blow a 6 point cushion

We dont need to get into this... all that needs to be said is that kobes prime was never even close to the player that lebron is in his prime... neither player has been statistically good in the clutch (lebron actually slightly better), but people remember kobes big shots more bc he takes more....

If you switch the teams, put lebron on the Lakers with shaq, and kobe in Cleveland, Lebron would have prob closer to 8/9 rings by now (would not have been selfish to run shaq out of town), and kobe would be sitting at 0 just as lebron is...

Because the Lebron haters are obsessive.

I'm pretty sure they sit at their computers/mobile ready to pounce on the internet during a Heat game.

    It's a sickness.

main difference is if u ask a lebron supporter if he choked on the FT line the other night they will say yes.
if u ask a kobe supporter if kobe choked tonite, u will be told how many rings he has won and ignore the question.

did you watch basketball during kobe's prime? you've got to be joking me. tonight's game was on kobe because of that idiotic turnover. but that doesnt mean it's his fault for steve blake turning it over, bynum missing his shots, and others missing their shots when they had the lead. mike brown also should've called timeout during the stretch as well. it's arguable who is better when they were at their prime, but to say that it's not even close and lebron is significantly better than kobe both at their primes is stupid. also, if you put kobe in miami, they win rings no doubt about it. so dont just talk about cleveland or do just talk about shaq. lebron hasnt won with miami either. he's got a guy on his team that was the first option on a championship team.

Plus, Lebron has an extensive history of choking late in games. Quite the contrary for Kobe. He's not going to get flamed for having 1 bad 4th quarter.

You've wrote 4 replies to your own post. Nobody cares. People just simply hate LeBron more than Kobe....that's the answer to your question.

He didn't just allow them to blow the cushion he assisted in them blowing it. From the get go when his patented fade away wasn't falling in the 1st quarter. I said to myself, oh boy lakers are gonna have to win inspite of Kobe today. Sure enough I was right, he stepped it up another level in the 4th quarter. I think he went and put on an OKC jersey in that 4th did Kobe.

Thread is actually understated. Lakers were up 7 with 2:08 remaining. You could arguably say both turnovers, not just one, were on Kobe, and he committed them within :10. He then missed 3 shots, 2 of which were completely terrible and ill-advised. Besides the turnovers and missed shots, he did nothing. Easily the worst final 2 minutes from any marquee player in these playoffs, and rates up there with any bad performance in the final 2 playoff minutes in years. All the Lakers had to do was NOT turn it over and they win. 100% on Kobe.

Kobe absolutely choked last night. Everyone saw it. I understand you are trying to show the contrast with Lebron, but Kobe has had a remarkable career with 5 rings and countless clutch moments. He is the most aggressive/intense player on the planet when the game is on the line.

Meanwhile I could write a novel about Lebron's shortcomings in the clutch, but I have a hunch you have read it already.
