Sup All. I generally do pretty well in NBA but I've noticed that I tend to do better when I post in threads because it gives me some feeling of accountability and keeps me from going crazy on certain plays. Not looking to build tailers just looking to earn some betpoints w/o having to post in random threads daily.
First Day's Card 11/23
Atl -3
Ind -4
Chi +9
NYK -2
Phi +2.5
Good night yesterday, wish I woulda took my own pick with Phi +2.5 instead of deciding to ride the ML at last min. Neverending mindfuk with small dogs.
Mil -1
Mia +5
Keeping an eye on some other dogs hoping for more movement but that's all I'll post today
Looking at the early game right now. I usually have have a pretty good handle on NYK but ATL are a wild card just based on their give a fuk attitute most of the time. Atl is still the better team all things considered and they're just starting to try to turn things around where NYK is prbly due for a loss.
So last Sunday I lost w Boston in Toronto with the early game so I'd be a fool not to do the exact same thing and ride Atlanta on an early Sunday B2B but that's what I'm gonna do for 1u in a pk situation
no offense, but that MIL pick is not a good pick brah
one of the other posters described this game perfectly -
Milwaukee Bucks @ Utah Jazz
The Jazz are playing great basketball right now going 13-3 SU in their last 16 games and 12-4 ATS. They are 5-0 SU & ATS in their last 5 outings winning by 9+ points in each of these games excluding the Lakers who they beat by 6.
Milwaukee are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games and are 1-5 SU in their last 6 outings. During their current 1-5 SU run, they have lost 3 games by double-digits including an 11 point loss at Philadelphia and a 14 point loss at Detroit.
Additionally, the Bucks have a lot of injury problems right now. Andrew Bogut, Drew Gooden & Corey Maggette are all unlikely to feature in tonight's game which means they will have a much weakened starting line-up and little strength in depth regarding their bench players. Therefore I can't see the Bucks being able to compete and stay in touch on the road versus a strong and in-form Utah team.
Utah have an impressive 13-3 ATS record in their last 16 meetings with Milwaukee including a faultless 8-0 ATS record in their last 8 meetings at home vs the Bucks. The Jazz have won all of their last 5 home meetings with the Bucks by 11+ points.
It was a back and forth nip and tuck game until the 4th when Utah blew them out, which did allow me a small polish middle at HT to cut loss in half (which obv covered). Many times I'd prefer the fav to have a 8-12 point comfortable lead the whole way which makes a backdoor cover more likely
Today I like SA -4, Cle +7 and Indy -3 the most off of today's card
Nope because it wouldn't be a true record anyways with betting both sides live on MB and situational HT middling. I don't list all bets i make here either, it's just kinda random what I put in here.
Got Mia -4.5 last night but didn't love it and would pass on current line (who am I kidding) but got Phx +130 on MB against GS and am happy about it as I see it 50/50
Listing 3 unders also (to give you an idea I bet each of these .5u which is what I do with most props and totals)
OKC/Tor 208u
Hou/Mem 206u
Sac/Lal 199.5
If you can't tell I wasn't on top of the openers last night as I usually try to, I got twisted and fell asleep way too early and slept too late. Early bird gets the worm - unless it's at the bottom of a tequila bottle
I've parlayed, teased, and played straight almost every game today. Only exception was GS/NO (don't know what GS's big man availability will be). Game I bet the most on was Bos -1.5, I know about their injury situation but I'm flabbergasted at this line. Total 'trap' situation for me I guess but we'll see
