I'm very disappointed in Holland not being seeded. Now they'll be playing Argentina. Plus, Côte D'Ivoire and Serbia and Montenegro are not gonna be easy matches.

Germany has an easy group. So does France.

Americans are stuck with Italy and Czech Republic. Not gonna be an easy task.

Brazil has Croatia, Australia and Japan. Look out for the Aussies! Gus Hiddink is a genius. If he prepared them as well as he did with Korea in 2002, this could be the cinderella team.

I was looking for the Futures I took last year. Have no clue where I took them (thought it was Pinny) but I"m pretty sure I already picked Holland and Czech Republic.

Brazil and Argentina are gonna be favs but the home team is always tough to beat. To the point where Maradona accused FIFA of fixing the games for the host nation. But I can see the Germans losing to Argentina in Quarter-finals.

I'll keep looking for my Futures but if I didn't take them, I'll take Holland again and add Brazil. I'll let go of Czechs as they would have to play Brazil in round of 16.

I will bet on Australia to come out of Group F over Croatia. Long shot but I trust Hiddink.

Am hoping for Argentina-Italy and Holland-Brazil in Semi-finals. That should be awesome.

Thought of bringing this thread back instead of starting a new one since Dan posted the link to the groups and matches.

I was talking to a friend of mine today, a chilean. Seems like argentinians are quite upset with the draw and are calling it fixed. They're not happy having to play the dutch and the serbs while the germans get pretty much a free pass.

It is possible that whoever comes out of this group C might leave a lot of energy behind. If Argentina finishes first, they could end up playing Mexico before facing Germany, if they get that far.
