Yeah he was cutting back from 1 1/16 mile to 5 furlongs and that's hard to show the same early speed.I looked at Gulfstream and Fairgrounds but didn't see anything .I did look at Bernie The Jet last night but I have a hard time with horses cutting back that much on turf.Turnbacks work a lot better on dirt.
On Sat R9 at Gulfstream the El Prado Stakes looks ripe for a nice payout with most of the logical horses doomed from post 10 and out.At first glance the 2-Teaks North looks good at 15-1 if it isn't too short but there is a ton of speed to help.[/QUOTE]
Turnbacks are no good on Turf. I like turnbacks on dirt if it is a speed favoring track and the horse had the lead or was close to it in a route all the way into the stretch now turnbacks to a distance it had early speed or at least had the lead or close to it sprinting they will continue to run.
