if you risk 2u on +150; gain 3u if win, down 2u if loose.

First, the date in the title of the thread should read "Wednesday 6/4/2008" and not "...6/5/2008". That confused me a bit like the Red Wings will be confused today. Now to my bets:

I have Detroit to win in 6 at +535, so I'm going to roll with that tonight. What a heartbreaker last game was, with the Wings blowing it in the last 35 seconds. Hopefully the Wings get it done tonight.

Wait until Pens win this series before your eyes. Wings will forever regret allowing that equalizer in the last seconds of the last game.
Pens will move up 2-3 today and are capable of a streak of 3 wins. Looks improbable but we'll see.

one factor that exists is the age factor . kinda like the spurs scenario .... old vs youngbucks .

age factor can be a looked at both ways , could be better to have more experience over the younger team , not sure how anyone can be confident in saying either has the ad in this game 6 ..

i understand what you mean , but alot of what you see in what looks like domination is just the other team allowing the other team to be on offense like that ...
is not quite like rocky putting his gloves down and letting apollo expend all his energy to tire him out ... but in a way believe it or not , teams do this in alot of sports .

Took the Over 5 at -130 for 5 units.
how many times do we bet on a baseball team because of the high profile starter only to lose the game .
what happens sometimes is the high profile starter does his job shutting the other team down but our teams offense fails to produce . so we get nothing from the great start but a loss .
the other guys come in from the bullpen and burn our money for said game . (scenarios are endless)
who is the better pitcher for tonight in game 6 ? osgood or fleury ?
if the answer is fleury and he (does the unthinkable) shuts down det pretty much will the pens be able to tally ?
another words just because one hugh factor seems to outweigh the rest does not mean we will come out on top .
huge factor being that the majority will always look at the det redwings as the powerhouse in the nhl and anyone else that happens to be their opponent is automatically a lesser than team ...

no way you can ever be down and dominate . if you really dominate a game i would say you shut the other team out .
we can define that as a team dominated . it all depends on what sport or game . some teams let the other score because they know they can outscore them or give a little up because it wont matter . NHL IS NOT ONE OF THOSE SPORTS . 1 goal is like a td right . sometimes a goal is worth much more than a td .
fav vs dog . i wonder just how much we really know about this setup and how much people dont want you to know about how this all works as a whole . so i know ? u damn right i know . i cant tell you though because there are too many shades of gray and fine lines beneath the lines . too much fluctuation and the tide changing in the results for each given day to master any of it . there is no such thing as a master at picking sports games . but you can be one of the masters .

with all things that exist in life there is a flip side . one of the truisms in life that made talk shows sooo successful this generation . you can flip any and everything in life . if you are or have been married i guarANTEE one of you was or is nicknamed FLIPPER .
all that to say we could say the wings falied more last game , failed is not a good word nor is it an ingredient to succeed (maybe) see you could twist the f out that . they had more shots but yet failed time after time .
so that would mean the pens succeded more time after time turning away the wings attempts to score .

i think the line is just gonna get worse the closer it gets to gametime so i will go ahead and click it .
backing the wings because by all i have witnessed it seemed the wings are the more talented team , so why not end it here . the 2 forwards they have can be monsters . the goalies are the biggest factor so i guess i will just roll the dice because i like both equal . not sure if i am being influenced more by what i have digested in watching the series or the simple fav aspect . sad i know . is really a tossup so what can you say to be convinced either way .

I agree with the Detroit backers, a Pitt win wouldn't exactly surprise me but I suspect Detroit will not allow it to get to game 7 where "anything can happen".
