    Earn A Couple Points

I realize points mean very little to the majority of the guys that post in the sub-forums but for those that like them here's what I will do.

List your best hockey play for tonights card. If I select your game I will give you 10 points. If your play wins I will throw you another 40 points and dedicate my Daily Blog tomorrow at RebateWager to you.

Got a question for you guys. How much of a factor is playing back to back in the NHL? I would think it play a huge role but it's just a guess on my part not being familiar with the sport.

Atlanta is playing back to back with travel involved and New Jersey is playing back to back as well but at home for both.

At this time its not a major factor. Maybe after 50 games then fatigue may kick in. I actually like teams that play back to back because they tend to more ready then teams that have had 2 or 3 days off. Atlanta didnt do much travel though, they went from anaheim to San Jose.

Yeah true about Atlanta, I should have just said on the road. I can see what you are saying though about early season play and also about a team that is sitting around. Appreciate the imput.

    Devils/Bruins it is.

I gave everyone 5 points for participating this time since it was the first time doing it.

I wanted to hammer Tampa but the line movement scared me off and I like unders anyway.

Inflames, if this wins you have 40 more points coming and the blog will be about you tomorrow.

Inflames, the game didn't win so no 40 points or blog but there should never be 5 goals scored in 1 period so 20 points for having the right call and just an unlucky result.

Did u notice how atl was playing B2B games and they got the win by 2. SJ had a week off and they looked terrible after the 1st period.

I've seen teams that play amazing and others that have no legs at all when it comes to back to back games. A younger team would probably do better.

I had some pretty good success this past week playing hockey. I managed to find great valued ML dogs 3 seperate times. It has been my first week of really attempting this though so beginners luck is obviously in play cause much like soccer I don't understand the game. Hopefully like soccer during the World Cup though I will evolve and gain an appreciation for hockey as well.

I will do a thread like this from time to time and award the points as detailed in the intial post. I can't do it every day cause if I select a guy on a roll I will run out of points and if I select poorly I will run out of money.

Vancouver -1.5 over a wary Carolina team that has had no recent road success there.

Tampa Bay Lightning over Dallas tonight in Tampa.

Tampa had a bad game last outing. They will skate hard and use good line changes to beat a complacent Dallas squad.

Tampa by 2 goals or more
