Same here.
Anyway, back to the playoff picture.
East:
Washington
New Jersey/Pittsburgh
Buffalo
Pittsburgh/New Jersey
Ottawa
final three spots: montreal, boston, philly, and rangers
What's interesting is the Rangers finish with a home-and-home against the Flyers. They need to win one in regulation and one in OT/SO, or win both in regulation. Two OT/SO would leave the teams tied, and Philly would have more wins.
Boston is almost certainly in with its win last night. Montreal had a chance to clinch, but was embarrassed by Carolina. Nevertheless, those two are likely to get in.
The most likely scenario has either the Rangers or Flyers being the team to finish 9th.
The Devils and Penguins are still tied with two games to go.
West
San Jose (will get the #1 or #2)
Chicago (see above)
Vancouver
Phoenix
Detroit
LA
Nashville
Colorado
LA and Detroit are tied with 98 points, each with two games remaining. The top finisher gets Phoenix, the bottom gets Vancouver. LA holds the tiebreaker.
the teams I bolded have no mobility. Their seeding is locked in.
