    Yes, the Devils are playing the best hockey in the NHL right now, but the Panthers needed this game more as they are trying to hold on to a playoff spot. This was also a letdown spot for the Devils after a four-game stretch where they played the best in the West (Sharks), the best in the east (Bruins) and two arch rivals (Rangers, Islanders).
