Agreed. I always get my bets in early because I'm too busy the rest of the day to keep up with line changes. Lucked out on the PL tonight because Detroit looked and played terrible in the 3rd. They didn't even get a shot on goal in like the first ten minutes of the period, right?

Scores and odds (along with ESPN) has Anaheim listed as +1.5 underdogs in the 11/15 game vs Carolina. They covered the puck line. Is this still a play?

Yes it is a play, they were the favorite and lost, as the rules state. When a team is listed at -110 and the other team is listed at +100, the -110 team is the favorite, regardless of who they decide to give the +1 1/2 goals to. The oddsmakers are not going to shift the +1 1/2 from one team to the other until they absolutely have to. They do not want both sides being available at given times on the +P/L, they could end up paying out a lot more wagers this way on ANY one goal game, and they would rather just leave it with one team, even if it is the favorite. If the M/L climbs high enough, it will eventually change the +P/L to the other team regardless. Originally Posted by calebepley93
