Have to stay up now and watch all the fights when I have tht much money on the line, and the late line movements offer too many good opportunities to pass up on, especially on pinnacle. I believe I'd of had more profitable UFC 145 if I'd not of been out partying all weekend...I intended to buy out of my Schaub bet or at least hedge but let it ride...then when I watched the fights the next day soon as I saw Rothwell come out looking lean and mean I knew I should of arbed out or at least hedged with Rothwell TKO/KO!

v what u think bout velasquez? i have him as a huge fav. im thinkin of throwin him in a parlay with melendez. silva's ufc debut and he couldnt take cormier. i just dont like payin this much juice on hw fights where any1 can be kod. i dont think cain has a glass jaw but the jds fight worries me that he cant take a big shot

Cains footwork and cardio are going to set him apart. I have 2u play on Cain. (was drunk dont even remember doing it)

But I expect cain to move alot and land alot of leg kicks here. Or he is goign to use combos to weave in and out and with leg kicks. Cain should be able to take him down and tire him out after the first round. He took down Chubby Rothwell, he should be able to do the same to Big Foot

after his last fight i think cain will go for takedowns from the start and try 2 avoid a standup battle. when its standing i suspect he will use kicks as well but im hoping he focuses on closing the distance and wearing silva down. i think cain has huge cardio advantage and should play it safe early

Ya I feel you and have the same reasoning, you gotta watch the events live if you got good money on the line... I used to always record and watch later so I could fastt forward through all the promotional bs, but now I watch everything live if possible. But yea man, gotta be tough grinding through the night to watch them, especially if you got work and what not.

    Why the bad feeling???

I paid him SU and for the decent amount of money I have down I'm surprisingly not sweating this one... while I think josh is underrated big time and would beat a handful of the top ufc lws, gil beats a 100% thompson and destroys an injured thompson...

Don't fuckk this up with your bad vibes, V!!!!

ha Just seems like one of those tht is too good to be true! Thomson is resilient as hell...gonna be difficult to sub or TKO him so you're basically relying on Melendez doing enough to get the decision which he obviously should do but still never know with the judges!

ha I thought something didnt seem right. In the interviews leading up to the fight he wasnt talking about his camp and he looked rough at the press conference. I thought it might be something more like a virus than a physical injury. Nonetheless, shows you shouldnt always take too much from rumors about injuries

If you guys think he was really injured why did he not say anything right after the fight? when every fighter claims injury. Instead he says "its hard to get hyped up for the fight?". That surely had to make him look worse than claiming an injury, no?

Because some fighters think it's disrespectful to bring up injuries...especially the ScrapPack and Cesar Gracie guys like Diaz bros and Melendez. Moreover, there were the obvious rumours tht Thomson also had injuries during camp so Melendez saying he also had injuries would of just been tit for tat.

Probably not, but perhaps he was just being honest and wants UFC to take notice tht he wants a bigger challenge. The Diaz brothers have also moaned before about not having fights tht motivate them. Im not disagreeing...it was completely disrespectful, especially after seeing how classy Thomson was. But tht's just how Diaz bros and guys tht train with them are I guess

I just don't get why he didn't use leg kicks at all if he was actually trying to finish. The worst possible outcome for everybody would be if the fight never happened.
