A couple of dogs here today:

    Campillo over Kovalev

First off, Kovalev is a very hard hitter, but I think Campillo is the superior boxer. This is an iffy fight because Campillo gets robbed like no other. In a fair world though, I think that Campillo
Has the goods to beat Kovalev if he stays smart, boxes and avoids accumulating too much damage. He's smarter than Kovalev and hopefully he can frustrate his opponent to a decision victory
I think Campillo will either lose a close or get robbed because of his fights with Shumenov and Cloud... but I think there's a good chance he finally gets his due
    Campillo @ +230

    Salido vs Garcia
This is an iffy fight because Garcia has all the tools to win..... my only qualm is he's never fought anybody of Salido's pedigree. Nobody has but the kind of pressure Salido has on him before. Also,
he fights with a smart kind of pressure that can frustrate and suffocate you. I think Salido will prove the statement of dragging the young opponent out deep to see if they sink or swim.
Salido will provide a pressure Garcia has never had before. If Garcia doesn't KO salio in the first 5 rounds (which I think is very doubtful) then he'll have way too much on his hands. I met him a year ago
were he knocked an overmatched opponent out... and his face was a little busted up (bruises and swollen eye). If he was able to do that, I think Salido will definitley do damage.

    Salido @ +210
    over @ -125

Kovalev is legit with that KO of Campillo.
Campillo looked terrible and barely did anything

    FML... I was swept yesterday.
The over could have at least hit, but they decided to cut their losses and take the belt with a TD
    Sorry... freaking 0-3 yesterday

I had Pac over Bradley, Cunningham over Adamek and this one.

It is painful and all, but I also think you have far more bets in boxing where you are just coasting to very comfortable wins. Obviously, way more than in team sports, but more than in MMA too. It's just that the bad beats are concentrated into extremely bitter pills.

I can't lie... I like Dzin... but I don't know if middleweight is for him.
His last two fights were, in my opinion, exceptions.
Sergio is the best MW in the world and Gonzalez came into the JMW fight at 163.... and probably weighed more on Fight Night (I was there live and that asshole looked big).
That said, we don't really have a fight in MW to gauge how comfortable he is in there.
I'll say this though, if we're speaking strictly boxing ability, Dzin wins.
    I'm on Dzin... for now

Hahaha, and looking bad for me already.
Dzin's not a middleweight.... getting hurt pretty bad.
First knock down was BS though... got lucky he grazed him with his glove while he was falling.

12 rounder... I think you've still got a shot. A lot of this stuff is hard to score. But SD is doing sharper work and adjusting better. We'll see. BOL.

This is such BS... the first round was a KD, but that wasn't a KD?
Vera barely touched Dzin while he was already falling and Dzin got a legit KD

Dzin is not a MW... shoot.
If only Dzin was a little bit bigger, he'd probably be able to handle Vera's shots better.

Well, got the over by a few seconds, it looks like. Due for some luck.

I thought Vera was fatiguing and bothered by that eye. He found that last little surge though. Then, you almost got bailed out by a DQ. Too bad.

I don't know why, but the under for Broner/Reese keeps dropping.
it's at -255 right now from -340 a couple of days ago. Jump on it while you can because Broner will kill this cat.
Also Charles Whitaker @ +165 is good value. Hopkins has fought twice in about 2 years against very modest opposition. Whitaker gave Rosado fits and I think even KD'd him before getting KO'd
Finally Escobedo @ less than -300 is good. Escobedo has had the better competition and I bet he's hungry after that Broner fiasco now fighting on Broner's card

    Kendall Holt (28 W 5 L 0 D 16 KOS) vs Lamont Peterson (30 W 1 L 1 D 15 KOs) - IBF light welterweight title

Who do you have? Holts advantage in power is the main factor here...right?

The lines moved a lot. But I think there was value in Holt. Not just because of his power, but because of Peterson's 14 month lay off and roid issues. Those things could all have a multiplying effect on each other, as well. But It's gone from +435, when I first saw it, to +310, at least on 5d.

I think Holt is so high as an underdog because he's in Peterson's hometown (all pro Peterson there) and Peterson is a tough dude. He's been dropped before, but he rises back and fights hard.
Khan/Ortiz are two good instances of where he's been downed but continued fighting back.
Yea, I know his 14 month lay-off is a real deal breaker here.... if Holt wins this, he has the first 5 rounds to do so. After that, I think Peterson will try to grind out his body in the opening rounds to slow him down and push the pressure the rest of the fight.
    Just my opinion
Honestly, this is the perfect time for Holt to beat Peterson and he has 2 ways to do it. KO him early or knock him down to create a buffer in points.

Let's see how this goes for me tonight on FNF:

Lamont Peterson over Kendall Holt @ -350
Holt can win outright, but Peterson is in DC and has a much better work rate than Holt. He's also tough as nails so I don't think he'll be KO'd either. It's too bad, Holt has good handspeed and power, but his punch output will be too little for him to win.

Also over 9.5 rounds. It's dropped from -335 to -235 since I got it last night.

    Finally Perez over Art @+310
Just feel like he's the faster more talented fighter with the better opposition. Acosta got to Art late in the fight and could have won outright. Perez has the superior edge in opposition faced and I think he could belt out a decision.

    Also over 9.5 rounds @ -170

Dang, Holt was doing good, but Peterson just packed it on after taht.... too much pressure.

    Also... I'm back!
    3-1 on the night.

Nice hit on Perez. I decided to stay away because he was moving up in weight. Wish I'd thrown at least a few bucks on him. Great pick.
