I think he died by the way.

He was money motivated and I doubt would have left millions sitting there in his known wallet for so long if not.

I think that it was Arky that posted JUP the other day. If you want exposure in the SOL ecosystem, JUP is the play. JUP is to SOL what UNI is to ETH. UNI had a huge run last cycle and JUP should do the same this one.

I am so tempted to sell some bags I have (at a loss) to ape in on some JUP. The thing is, the bags are gaining but so are the coins I want to buy... eheh, such a dilemma....

He described his idea for a distributed payment system that could not be shut down once rolling, and talked about me working for him as a public face (fallguy I was suspicious of at the time) for an investment program attached to the project. It never went very far as we had a minor falling out and both wanted to go our separate ways. When I came to learn of Bitcoin a few years later I went ding ding ding right away. Finally the stuff he described made sense (some sense lol). So personally I am pretty sure he is just one person. I imagined he had no real friends.

    Anyway thats my story FWIW.
That's one hell of a story.

I agree its a "funny" time to be deciding what to do. Hard to buy 'high' when have been hodling bargain basement price stuff for so long.

Think I will snap up some JUP too. I want to have more money in play if this keeps going a few more weeks.

If you get JUP, putting it in a Phantom wallet may be a good idea. They may give away airdrops. Make sure that the airdrops are real before opening. People will send scams.

Yes, next time around, I'm going to have plenty of stablecoins ready for this kind of thing. I'm all in on crypto so I have to create my own "mad money" (liquidity). There is no manual for this stuff.... still learning....

Few more weeks. Nah at least a few more months. The stuff you buy today will be bargain basement in 6 months.

no rug pull but its a useless crypto currency. BSV is so much better based off original btc. Ive gone into it many times on this thread. I could be wrong but BTC is not the future.

I don't mean I think it will fall from there btw. Just for the bullish market to cool down by then.

When people who get in late don't see some fantastic explosion on halving day, I predict quite a few will exit the market again.

73,252. Close to the ATH. Will challenge 74k on Thur?

Have to make one obvious observation. What does this say about USD and other Fiat currencies? Is BTC at an ATH versus EACH Fiat currency?

So, I sold the last of my EOS and OMG (remember that one?). Took about a $12K haircut. This gave me $3K USD which I bought JUP with. Therefore, I need JUP to 4x to break even and I think it might get there.... I would think it would get there faster than EOS or OMG...

Solana is gaining market share in all key blockchain industries like Decentralized Exchanges (DEX), gaming, and Decentralized Public Infrastructure (DePIN). In this case, it has become the biggest layer 1 competitor to Ethereum, which has long dominated these industries.Orca and Jupiter’s market shareJupiter and Orca, the two biggest decentralized exchanges in Solana, have moved into the top ten in terms of volume. According to CoinGecko, Jupiter handled over $353 million in volume in the past 24 hours, making it the second one after Ethereum’s Uniswap V2. Its monthly site visits have jumped to over 6.6 million, meaning that it is growing in popularity. As shown below, Jupiter’s normalised volume has jumped in the past few weeks.
    https://coinstats.app/news/956f01943...-share-in-DEX/

Solana’s market share in DePINSolana is also growing its market share in other industries. For example, it has become the biggest player in the Decentralized Public Infrastructure (DePIN) industry. Helium a DePIN network in its ecosystem, has continued to gain share in the broadband sector.Render Network, which was previously in Ethereum, is providing decentralized GPUs while Hivemapper is disrupting the mapping industry that is now dominated by the likes of Google and Apple. All this explains why Solana has outperformed Ethereum in the past few months. While Ethereum has just doubled in the past 12 months, Solana is up by over 400% and the trend could continue in the near term.
It is an old article from 1 month ago that I just stumbled upon looking for something else.

    Edit:
Since you're new to Phantom, sometimes you can do swaps in your phantom wallet such as trading SOL for JUP. Other times you have to go through the dex JUP or RAY to trade.

I also use 7 Phantom wallets in case there's an airdrop.
