If I make a btc withdrawal from an offshore site like bookmaker to Gemini how do they know it's from a gambling site? I got a warning a year ago and have had to send to wallets like mycellium first ever since but now the fees for each transfer are like 50$. How do you guys navigate this and how do they know where the transfer is coming from? I thought the anonymity was part of the btc allure

I keep it in alts at Betcoin to save fees. The crypto books hide the transactions better than the fiat books. The fiat books are easy to track since they don't split up wallets properly and do other things to cover tracks. That's just a guess on my part since there doesn't seem to be problems with the crypto books although I could be off on that one. I just know that the crypto books are really advanced with some things such as catching multi-accounting.

I also think the alts will outperform BTC so I have no problem leaving the balance in alts.

are you saying you use betcoin . ag off shore book and your account there basically as your secure wallet of many different coins ? and have other crypto sent to that address and hold them there?

that seems unusual but your the guru master.

worstthing to do is gamble in BTC.... Use a coin that has no transfer fees LTC SOL DOGE.

Your gambling twice by using BTC and paying $100+ to delosit and withdrawl.

Yes, that's the book Betcoin. You can only keep your balance in the one that you deposit. Right now I deposited in ETH, my balance is held in ETH.

At risk of posting a Stupid Question:
*Does anyone use the Coinstar Machine to purchase Crypto coins?

First off, the Fees are too high. I know this.

On the positive side, however, it appears like this might be a pretty seamless way to onboard. You deposit the Coins/Dollars. Purchase the crypto and it goes onto your phone App.

If the App allows you to send coins to a wallet, that sounds pretty good.

I haven't used one in a long time but I think all you need is a driver's license or passport that they'll scan and you're good to go.

I understand that. I'm asking if Coinstar is a reasonable platform. I know I'd be spending too much in fees.

I'm just done with Coinbase. They're too nosy. If Coinstar is less invasive, I might try em.

PS: I did see a Coinstar video where you can put coins into the machines and receive a Gift Card (to one of several vendors). Amazingly, that option = no fees. So, you'd redeem and pay zero in fees.

I might actually try this. Fees are too high.

If there is an option to acquire coins AND ship the coins to an external wallet, might be worth it. Could be a nice way to convert USD to Crypto held on an individual basis.

Used Coinstar today. Will comment on my experience. Pretty good!

    A few things:
    1) I was surprised. Coinstar machine will only accept bills when accumulating Crypto. Not sure why, as it is a COIN machine.

I signed up for an account at the Coinme website. Pretty painless. Confirmations come thru the phone # you list, pretty nice.

I put thru a small Dollar amount to buy Litecoin. Transaction was pretty seamless. And I was able to transfer LTC from my account to an external wallet.

Overall, I'm very happy. I know the fees are too high. But it wasn't very intrusive.

I might ask the crowd again. *What do you think of Litecoin (LTC)?
...Wow, the LTC transactions are lightning-quick. Confirmed almost immediately.

    2) Since Coinstar doesn't accept Coins for Crypto purchase, I had some extra coins. Coinstar charges to convert Coins to Cash. But they DON'T charge to convert coins to Gift Cards.

Option to get Gift Cards from several vendors. Not bad. If you're going to spend it, that's a pretty nice option.

Assuming an EFT approval comes as expected. Up. But by how much might disappoint some if the expectation is already mostly priced in.

Anyone know what I should do for a payout that was sent over two weeks ago and not even picked up on blockchain yet?

Can't even see what fee they sent it with. It says invalid btc transaction on blockchain website. Not able to use a btc accelerator as I dont have a tx id.

What are you asking for in your search that is reporting invalid transaction?

Sorry- it does give a direct link to the blockchain site with a 64 character transaction id. But that tx id shows as invalid. Do I just pay for the viabtc accelerator to try and get it through?

It sounds to me like the books payment script had a glitch and your payment was started but not completed somehow.

I would be just going at the book to say you havent been paid and the blockchain shows their nominated transaction has not been completed. Here is the link to say so. Please pay me now.

I've seen probably 50+ similar complaints from a stake page I'm on from people that used btc on the same day as myself. I've done other btc and litecoin transactions since and was paid instantly. Stake claims that they sent with a low fee and eventually it will be broadcasted and I will get paid but it may take a few weeks/months.

For the record- they have credited me this payout back to my account and apologized. They said I can keep this payout once it gets picked up and confirmed on the blockchain.
