Can I build up my bankroll to 3000 and become a pro or does it not work that way for non pros?

how many points can i bring with me and become a pro? i think i heard if you have 5000 you use 3 to become a pro and then can have up to 2000 to keep. is this true?

I have no idea. I thought you could keep 5000 + 3000 to renew, so 8000 total?
