Seriously though: I weigh in when just about anyone posts something that seems wrong, usually prompting a discussion. Either I find out I'm wrong, they find out they're wrong, or in a few cases (mainly the ones you mentioned) the other person persists on coming up with different delusions that are fun to rag them about (like CS4's delusions of oppression, or bobby's delusions of success). I don't usually ignore people when they say stupid things, especially about me...hence the back and forth with wulfy.

I offered advice to wulfy months ago in this thread, and his response was quite civil and reasonable "terms are terms"...and I said not another word about it. When he started paying off his loans recently, I congratulated him. When he started insulting MD and proclaiming he wouldn't pay as agreed because it wasn't fair/right/etc, I said the exact same thing I had said before. Rather than agreeing as he had previously, he flew off the handle and started in with his laundry list of idiotic assumptions. I don't let people speak poorly of me without correcting them, even if the person doing it seems to be as mentally "unique" as wulfy.

When someone calls me a liar, I'm going to point the proof out to them...if the truth hurts their feelings, they have a couple of real easy options: stop calling me a liar so I can stop bringing it up to show them they're wrong, or better yet, do the right thing and fix the problem. Wulfy could have fixed it, but chose to gamble points away instead of making things right...the truth of that is indisputable, but that's between him and his lenders. Even after he started in with his gibberish, I wished him good luck not once but twice instead of calling him out on his idiocy...but he kept on ranting. Despite repeatedly claiming he wasn't going to waste his time on me, he keeps on wasting mine by reposting the same idiocy.

Hope that clears it up for you opti. These back and forths are slightly amusing, but they get boring quickly. check in MD. as discussed 5k loan, if paid within 24 hours 5500 owed. if paid after that 20% plus add 1% interest to the outstanding balance each week. after 4 weeks we add 4% of the outstanding balance to what is owed. wont come to that but MD wants his points back fairly quickly. i have assured him payback by end of this week. was my own fault . kept playing when i was up 15k. sbr cleaned up but it was all on me for not getting out when i should. i actually got up from the computer when i was at 41k but i had done some calculations of the loans i owe and to get something from the store and needed 3k more. i went for it. at 25k stopped . tried again. dwindled down to 9k then to 5k. got it up to 10k . and then lost 8k. dont know why i didnt just give it all back. stopped for good with a few thousand in hand .

got to make a rudy pledge, take these pts more seriously lol. but as i said it was a matter of paying out my debt and buying myself something from the store since early 2012. dont feel sorry for me. ill be back.

The only real difference between assuring and swearing is that they're spelled differently. If you assure someone you can take care of a loan by a certain time, but are unable to due to unforeseen circumstances (which seems to have been the case) that's one thing...to repeatedly not live up to your assurance when you are able to do so is quite another thing. This thread is full of MD asking you quite patiently to update him while you were hitting parlays and trying to run them up instead of paying as "assured", but you checked in mainly to insult no1 or to say "next week" or to plead for reduced interest. Your behavior on this loan is contrary to just about anyone's concept of "honor", and is only borderline "adequate". I guess lenders in the future will have to get you to "swear" to them to have the points back instead of "assuring" them?
