    always go for the second question.

    Stop after 2 because few can hit at the required rate (about 35%).

    There are various Qs as 3rd level questions which give you four numbers, all fairly close to one another, and ask for something obscure from 5+ years ago. Those are straight guesses, so a 25% chance at getting them right.
