But if you look through the other thread, you'll see numerous times where he said he'd make up for it by making a 2nd donation. IMO, you invoking the 250pt penalty is no excuse for him to back out of that.

That's why, if it were me, I'd charge the 2nd penalty if he doesn't make a 2nd donation so that the charity still gets 2 payments.

matt honestly.. if he pays a donation to charity on his own and at his own time (besides the 300pt one he owes for screwing them over other day and stealing my pts).. then it means a lot more to me coming directly from him than u or i or anyone else enforcing or forcing it.. imo donations shouldnt be penalties.. he broke the rules several times of our agreement, therefore beyond anything else he should be penalized there.

He was always going to back out as soon as his winnings dropped form 5k to 2400, IMO. Here is what Cookie Monster said earlier when we were discussing it:

"I am already hearing Carseller4 saying: Bad luck, Docs without borders, we lost" he quickly added "But I will recover the 'lost' points at SBR casino, where dreams come true"

Sadly, I had to agree 100%. Incidentally, this was well before the game results were known. We were simply discussing that his team had opted to go with a poor strategy and hurt their chances as a result.

Yeah I do want to avoid it. Mostly because if I don't spend any money on gambling I don't have to ever feel guilty about doing it. (and can tell others to piss off and mind their own business)

I have not had to spend a cent on gambling during 2011 even though it was a bad year overall, and would like to do the same for 2012.

My main betting interest is motor sport, which is done until mid February. I'm 100% points greedy focused until Daytona. I don't really care if I hardly have a cash bet until then. (well apart from Aussie tennis open)

I know it sounds easier just betting cash to increase the bankroll, but why do it on sports I'm really not that great at when I can get my fix on them with points betting. I still win cash and without any risk to the BR.

If I can manage to get myself over $1000 for next years bankroll without having to spend a cent out of pocket, I will be a very happy camper. $1500 I'll be wrapped. Don't have big expectations, just love to gamble on the car racing I love.

I'm extra careful because I had a problem when younger with gambling. Went cold turkey for over 15 years without a bet until I was sure I could control myself. It's nice to know I can. (must be getting old)

I'll have a big lash at the Aussie Open Tennis though. And if that kills it, no matter, I'll just give up my pride and deposit.
