I'm not liking either Texas or the Mets tomorrow at first glance, AC. Of the two I think Texas has a better chance of winning. Pelfrey is a bum and Lincecum has been nothing short of spectacular this season. I'd take the + odds on the Giants...

    Arizona vs Washington

AC1318, I have to agree with you on the under 8 (-130) in the nationals vs dbacks.

Webb lowers his era whenever he pitches against the nationals. In his last 3 starts vs the nationals, he has shut them out 2 times. In those 3 starts, Webb has allowed one run in 25 innings.

Perez has very good numbers at home this season but has been victimized by a lack of run support. In 6 starts at home, Perez is 0-2 with a very good era of 2.27. Perez has good career numbers vs the dbacks. In 18 career starts vs the dbacks, Perez is 5-5 with a 3.45 era.

Hitters on neither team have good numbers against both of these pitchers. Dbacks hitters have not faced Perez that much. Chad Tracy is 4 for 12 and is the only dback to face him more than 10 times. The dbacks offense is hurting due to the fact they do not have Eric Byrnes who is out with an injury.

In his last start, Webb gave 5 earned runs to the brewers. Webb probably will not allow this many runs again this season. The Nationals scored 5 runs in their last game and that is lot for them.

Another advantage for the under is this game is being played in a pitcher friendly park. The nationals just do not hit at home and have bad run support for Perez. As a result, Perez pitches very well at home. This game can go extra innings and it will still stay under the total.

Scratch the Nationals lean, I thought Owings was throwing for the Diamondbacks today.

Wait, u mean to tell me, u only see one overs on the 1st day of a series.. Man, why do everybody have the baltimore and toronto as an under. I see that game as an easy overs. both teams have seen each other before the previous series had 2 0f the 3 go over. 2 sorry pitchers on the mound. Help me to see how you see the overs? I also see a clear overs in the houston vs pirates one but I hate playing overs back to back in a same series. Snell is coming back from injured reserved for the Pirates and Snell is hot garbage.. I don't see snell doing much of anything except pitching home runs. Is just if Houston can hit them..

TODAY'S FREE PLAY: 7/8/08 - FLA vs SD OVER 8
Tonight, I am going back to the SD vs FLA over. This game features 2 pitchers who are ice cold. Wolf had a nice little run for SD earlier this season, but is 0-3 with a 7.42 ERA in his last 3 starts. On the other side, Miller has been awful for Florida. He is 0-2 with a 5.51 ERA in his last 3 starts. The over is 7-3-3 in Miller's last 13 starts. Both teams have been hitting well against lefties recently. I expect this game to get over tonight.
