Hey LTA, please one quick question. When you bet on +odds, you bet to win 1 unit or you bet 1 unit to win for example 1,1 unit if the odds are +110?

My units are "risk" on plus odds. Consequently, my bet on the pirates was 1x to win 1.33x. For faves, my units are to "win." Consequently, my total plays at -120 are to win 1x at the risk of 1.2x. Hope that helps....good luck

That means you don't use flat stake entirely. Good to know, will start to do the same as tail you. that explains how you won more than me the other nite even though I got all your lines. Nice to have that clarified

Any thoughts on White Sox/Mariners in the late game LTA? I feel Sale's numbers are way more enticing than Noesi's. I also like fading young pitchers that had a great outing in their last start (Noesi going 8 scorless last game)

I hope you played it .... I played the sox and indians too but couldnt post because I was at a black tie event so those plays wont count for the record but helped mitigate an otherwise tough day. GL

I did play the White Sox last night and I'm playing them again today as I locked in a -105 last night. I think they have the most underrated starting pitching in the big leagues.

I'm curious as to where your model has the Marlins ML?... I feel like there could be value there.

On the Phillies/Padres under 5.5, how come you don't take Padres TT under 2.5? I'm guessing the juice is the reason but was just wondering if you think the Padres can get 3+ runs vs Halladay? Its not that I don't trust Luebke but I just think there is a high chance San Diego gets shut out and although Philly struggle to score, their bats may take off at some point. Just interested in your opinion

It's cool...no apologies needed. But I recognize you as a pretty consistent guy posting in my threads so you know that I update my record every day and that the record going into yesterday was posted just one page behind this one. One of my pet peeves is lazy people who can't do anything for themselves so when people ask me for my record I always find it annoying because if they just looked they would find it for themselves. Anyway, about to update my record from last night now. Good luck today.

I am hopeful that you will be able to keep your emotions in check if you are going to follow. Sometimes you post positive stuff and sometimes you act like a troll, so I don't know what to think. Are you a chick by any chance? LOL, I was just kidding so don't take offense.

Anyway, this is going to be a long 7 month season to the world series and we are going to have ups and downs. You just need to keep it even keel and I promise we will be positive units when it's all said and done. I have never lost money in any of my threads, including this one, and I don't plan on starting now. Yesterday was a speed bump (that would have been a lot better had I been able to post my plays on the White Sox and Indians), but we will have more good days than bad. Just be positive like you have been of late and you will make some money off my plays. I always put in the work, so you never have to worry as though I am throwing darts like some of these other guys. One of my great pleasures in life is helping others and teaching others so I hope I can help you make some money and be a better sports investor. I don't play team totals because there is too much variance. My model has this at 2.7 for the Phillies and 1.7 for the Padres, so I would say that the Padres TT looks good, but I don't like adding more variance to my life because that just makes this business harder. I just play full game sides and totals with a rare 1st 5 inning play. Good luck dude.

Here's where we are at going into today. I hate that I was not able to post my plays on the White Sox and Indians for you guys last night, but I will do my best to make up yesterday's losses. I agree, it's a long haul. If i would ever rip into this thread yesterday would of been the day. Had $300 on all your picks except Philly, haha. You obviously know what you are talking about and I enjoy reading this thread. Betting on sorts for a long time and have never put a dime on baseball until 3 weeks ago.
