    How awesome would it be if Oakland missed the playoffs? If Mariners win tonight they would only be 5 back and I'd guess they still play each other 3-6 more times this year.

    I would love to see that happen to be honest.

    Yeah, the only other plays I looked at were NYY (missed the good numbers, but of course, it didn't cash anyway) and San Diego (felt like the line said it all, but couldn't pull the trigger).

    There been something off with waino since the asb, his velocity is shit, no real control of cutter, and having to rely on the hook a ton. I've seen some interesting articles and theories bout how much better waino is w yadi throughout his career but that doesn't explain the drop in velocity I've noticed (don't know what he was throwin today?), if ya ask me his arm is fatigued but what do I know?     He wasn't at his best today obviously, but the offense was nothing short of horrific. Absolutely lifeless at-bats. Locke owned them with his 89 MPH fastball and garbage stuff. For such an important game, the Cardinals looked like they couldn't care less.
