The Cubs are the most un-clutch team I've ever seen. Glad I didn't bite on them today. 10 hits, 0 runs....

Lmfao, I thought Balty was gonna pull it out, Cruz swinging at the last ball killed it, would have been bases loaded and 1 out

1-1 -.23. Hit the blue jays and lose the Reds in the bottom 9

Made it even worse as I had a small play on the under in that one as well. Back to the drawing board.

Well this day's turned to shit in a hurry.

Pretty easy afternoon as it turns out: just take the better pitcher and win every game. Not sure I've ever seen such low for pitching mismatches as Bumgarner, Felix and Cliff Lee.

Not sure if books undervaluing sf, overvaluing lad, or both., either way I'll take it as I took ml rl and over, hopefully get 1 more run for the trifecta.. Feel pretty good with fish and rats tonight, think that all for me.. What bout final 4? Nc i think this finally where u get paid back fading wiscy!

Yeah, I want to take Kentucky, but the Badgers f\*\*k me over every single time. There's really no reason to believe Wisky can hang here, but I'm sure Kaminsky will hit like 10 threes and keep them in it.

I was confused by both the SF and SEA lines. Went with OAK, but Felix has been lights-out. Almost took the Dodgers too, which would've made a bad afternoon even worse.

I might gamble with the Rangers +1.5 (-125) tonight. Love Price, but he's way overpriced here.

I rolled w you on oaktown small . I really do think The wear and tear on Felix shows at times, kid a smart pitcher tho so has learned to pitch w less electric stuff at times.. I tried to warn u off fading wiscy w bunch, not that I played them cause I feel bout same as u, I just put more stock in Bo making a final 4. Now that he made it I say unload on the talent here! Kamisky isn't a matchup problem for uk as their bigs can go anywhere on the court he can.. Wiscy prob overwhelm them w their sets a little early but every team has jumped on uk and they come storming back, kids are tough as nails and have ice water in their veins. They will beat wiscy..

Alright, you've convinced me -- despite the fact that Brock is on Kentucky.

Felix is nothing short of incredible. He's really matured as a pitcher through the years.

what makes you think he is on the decline?
his whip last year was the best since 2010 when he had a 1.06 (1.13 last season)..
he was unlucky with a .314 babip last season (highest since 2008)..
he had the best K/9 in his career at 9.51 and the lowest BB/9 at 2.03..
his fastball averaged 92mph last season, which is the same that it was in 2012. hes not sitting 95 like he did 5 years ago, but he can still dial up to 95 and has 4 pitches that he throws at least 10% of the time.

easily one of the top 5 pitchers in the games, and will no doubt in my mind contend for the Cy Young this season..
they finally have a stud hitter, seager is a star on the rise, and perhaps this is the year for smoak?

the pitching on this team is insane. paxton might be the best kept secret in baseball, and wait till you see tajun walker. hernandez is a true pitcher and he still can bring it...
i think sea takes the division this year and beats out oak. the loss of parker is big, even though i expect kazmir to be money...
texas falls off imo...angels are a joke.

not as drastic of a drop off (like lincecum) as you think.
and early on this season, its up. should only tick upward with warm weather:

The performance has paralleled the numbers for Lince, though. Felix just keeps getting better despite the velocity dip.

Reds typically don't do well vs. lefties though, right?

Paxton kid is going to be very good. I'm impressed with Seattle so far -- particularly Paxton and Miller at SS. MLB fans will know about these two soon enough.
