Agree completely, which means Giants win 8-6. LOL.

Small sample size, but take Scutaro out of the stats of current Giants vs Greinke (Scutaro on DL), and the remaining guys have .206 OBA, .370 SLG, .576 OPS. If this were a 10 PM EST game at Chavez Ravine in April, i'd probably be more enthused about under due to marine layer, but then again, 5 pm start could mean some issues with shadows. At any rate, no way would i touch over here. Starting to think about Dodgers -1 RL +108. I've been straight shit on parlays so far (with good reason, given that they aren't the smartest plays).

I kinda like under 3.5 first 5 innings in the dodgers game. I read somewhere dodgers lineup really struggling lately. What are your thoughts on the first half?

Or dodgers to win the first half. I think greinke can limit the runs and the dodgers might be able to get a few early runs on Caine

Dodgers lineup definitely struggling early and not as good now as it will be long-term, and Puig and Ellis both sitting tonight. Agree, FF under might be a good option, but that 3' -125 - pretty pricey for a play where you can't push, at least for me. Dodgers FF RL might be worth a shot, that's -105. Your point about playing FF rather than game is a good one, as Dodgers pen is pretty worn out from last few days. BOL whatever you decide. Not sure what I'm going to do, may just pass. Mariners surrendering 6 straight runs after taking early 3-0 lead is taking the starch out of me.

I think shadows early and heavy air late could lead to a 5-6 run game.

Agree, but think i'm passing. With total runs scored total at 98 so far, and after 2-3 start, i can end the day down .06u if this game stays under 22'. in the end, i feel like i'm talking myself into playing something tonight - never a good way to be.

Yup just like I thought greinke would hold down he mound and Caine would get rocked in the first half! The first half under looked good till the bottom of the fourth. Good way to avoid the heavy juice I don't remember what it was but I know it was way cheaper to bet dodgers first half rather then whole game.

Will try to track this on a regular basis and provide weekly updates. No surprise, parlays remain sucker bets, and I remain a sucker.

    Week One Breakdown
    ML Faves: 2-1 +0.94u
    ML Dogs: 4-1-1 +4.24u
    RL Faves: 0-1 -1u
    -1 RL: 3-1-2 +3.17u
    Overs: 1-1-1 +0.1u
    Unders: 9-2-1 +6.77u
    FF Overs: 1-0 +1u
    FF Unders: 1-0 +1u
    Parlays: 0-3 -3u
    Grand Salami: 1-0 +1u
    Overall: 22-10-5 +14.22u

Note: rather than type out "full-game," if line item doesn't specify, it's full-game. Where first five innings, i'll denote with FF.

Like Reds/Cards under despite high juice but passing due to weather. Rainy day in St Louis, decent chance of delays.

Nice start, Biffer. I'm with you on the Stros -- either FG or FF. Can't decide yet.

Will have to check out the NYC weather and take a closer look there. Was leaning O's.

Love Brewers, probably my favorite side tomorrow. Good stuff on that one over at CTG and model agrees (likes Brewers by 20-25c). Also like Royals, Giants (maybe -1 RL or in parlay), Reds/Cards under, White Sox/Rockies over.

I lean Brewers too, but that's a weird line to me. I have Milwaukee -120 in this spot.

I also have the Brewers has a small favorite in this one, so I pounced on -101 on Pinny as soon as I saw the line.

There's definitely something weird about this line, but it's not enough to stop me from backing Lohse in this spot.

Just wondering, what is your logic for betting Giants -1? Why not just take the -1.5 for added value, since you need a 2+ run win to win anyway?

Good luck I grabbed Brewers early at +103. Just added Yanks over as well. Like under in Royal game later and might also join with SF......

Almost played BAL/NYY over at 9 +100 rather than paying juice, but my chart says that half-run is worth 23c. Hope I don't end up regretting it..

Sure - I have no problem whatsoever with a push. With a home team in a pitchers' park, I'm a bit more worried that this could be a one-run game. In general, I prefer -1 RL to standard RL with home team, particularly in pitchers' park. I play a lot more -1 RL than standard RL, but I'm sure that there are others smarter than me who would advise you to take Giants RL +160 here.

Interesting drop in the SF price. Is that just the market disagreeing, or is someone out?

Pinny currently has the Giants at -139.
