Just can't see putting 64 units on one game. Especially one you'll feel that'll be close. Took a hit in the bottom of the 9th to win. I hope this amount of juice on D bets wasn't common last year.. Luckily the Giants won but you can't be thrilled risking 64 units to win around 32 and the game being that close. Hope the soccer game comes through for everyone tomorrow!

Obviously wasnt thrilled about it, and I actually got the line before it moved down so I was actually juiced more. I started the chase with over 400 units(understanding that this is a very volatile system). Good luck in the soccer game for those of you that parlayed !

not sure if you are in the US or not, but same thing happened to me at one of my books...I believe it was DSI...I never ended up getting any kind of bonus they promised...After I ran through my BR there I never reloaded. Sucks these Books got the players by the balls.

Isn't a chase system basically the definition of poor bankroll management? I believe if your going to play a system then you should play it the way it was back tested and meant to be played, if you cant handle the swings then you probably shouldn't be playing a chase system. You have to understand that there can be 100+ unit swings in a matter of days, whether it is one incredibly juiced series or the summation of many... Either way good luck to you and everyone else on the soccer game.

BUT then again - I have lost 90 units in chases in the last 2 weeks so perhaps I'm a little gun shy. Plus - I can not enter wagers THAT big in my sports book. $500 is the limit.

Which, I guess, highlights a fundamental flaw of a system that picks and chooses teams based on past results (rather than just identifying +EV situations).

It's poor bankroll bankroll management to start this system with only 100 units, especially when it was advised to start with more. I halved my unit size for this chase and started with 200 units so was able to play the SD fade in full. I would consider that good bankroll management.

Actually the advice was 75ish. This is my 3rd chase and I've studied four chases game by game so I know what to expect and when you have a 1 in 1500 games, unit bet of that size AND for a bet that wins 50% of the time . . .. I'll pass. . .
