Reason: Results and correction on betting unit on RLM plays
Finished strong yesterday going 4-1 and +3 units.
My underdog winners were to win one unit so ended up a good day.

Early pick for Monday WINReds ML (+125)
Coming off a mediocre outing last week, hopefully Volquez will be back to his All-Star form from last season. Anytime you can get a number this big with a pitcher of his caliber it is worth a shot. With Gallardo pitching for the Brew Crew, I expect a low scoring game. Reds lineup is much better against right handed pitching than lefties. No line yet on the over/under on Bodog but I will def. lean the under. Expect it to come out around 8. _____________________________ Regular season MLB

The Reds v. Brewers game was not as I expected at all with lots of runs scored on the starters. Volquez not to form yet and Gallardo unexpected poor outing.
Postponed Detroit Tigers +120
------------------- Postponed Chicago White Sox vs. Detroit Tigers Under 5 (-110)
*Anticipate a strong outing from the rookie RH Porcello..After shaking the first game jitters he should settle in this outing and allow his talent to take over. Danks (LH) is also a quality starter. With the wet and cold conditions in Detroit would expect a low scoring start to this one.
Taking Detroit for the game with the +120 and home field advantage.
------------------- LOSS Cincinnati Reds vs. Milwaukee Brewers Over 9 (-115)
------------------- LOSS Milwaukee Brewers -138
Arroyo is suffering from carpal tunnel in his throwing hand. He was able to get the win in his first start, but don't expect him to be able to have dominate performances this year.

That Cinci game last night didn't turn out like either of us thought, eh? Some pitcher's duel.... I thought I was golden when Hart hit a 3-run jack to put MIL up 5-1. Then Gallardo goes out and shits the bed the next half inning. I knew Grienke would shut down CLE and Carmona would get touched up. Man Grienke looked sharp. Painting the corners, low in the zone, low to mid 90's velocity. Just nasty. Kid's really starting to fulfill all those expectations. Bright future ahead.
My parlay crashed with MIL, Wang was just wrong so that blew my total, and ARZ couldn't scrap out more than 1 run to back up a solid performance by Doug Davis. I decided my thread idea was an epic fail. I quit.
Jello, don't quit so early. Like to have somebody to bounce ideas off. Any time I can find another person with some reasoning behind their plays it is beneficial. Keep up the work. Its a marathon not a sprint. BOL tonight with all your plays.
Well I'm on the under in this Detroit game. I like MIL on the R/L tonight. That's somewhat based on your sage input in regards to CIN vs LH pitching. MIL bats should do well against Arroyo and his guitar wrist.
I parlayed STL and KC. Going to ride KC hard for now -- especially against CLE. I sense a little bit of magic in these guys early. Machine Choice posted that he place $100 on them at 150/1 to win the WS this year. That doesn't seem quite as far fetched today as it did two weeks ago, imo.
Had not looked at the KC game, but now that you have I see that Carl Pavano is pitching. Might he be like Randy Johnson, fade at all costs? I will jump on board with this pick. Not sold on St. Louis being in Arizona.
Add WIN KC Moneyline -138
------------------- WIN Clev. v. KC Over 9 -120

Yeah, that was another reason for the pick - Pavano. I also think Kyle Davies is good young pitcher. He finished strong last season, even if he doesn't usually go very deep. I'm a Braves fan and I remember him coming up. Great change. Good curveball. I knew if he ever learned how to pitch he'd be solid. Looks like he's getting there.
I also booked LAA at -105. I don't care whose pitching for the Angels; Carlos Silva is dragging his gascan out to the mound for Seattle. LAA - the best team in the division against one of the worst SP in the division at even odds? Seems like a good value to me.
After reading EaglePhan's assessment of the Cardinals @ DBacks, I am going to tail him on the under. He and topgame are very solid o/u cappers on here.
LOSSCards @ DBacks Under 9 (-115)

Rough day yesterday as Arroyo did exact opposite of what I thought and threw a gem.
Going to take a look at the games today and tonight and hope to find some value plays.

LOSS Cleveland Indians vs. Kansas City Royals Over 9½ -110
-------------------------------------------------------------------- PUSH Colorado Rockies vs. Chicago Cubs Over 7 (-125)
Both games had chance to go over in the 9th.Indians have runner thrown out at the plate and Cubs have nobody out with runners on first and second down 3. Guy gets caught stealing third then a double play ball. Unreal.

Getting a couple of plays in before I hop on a plane and head home to Ft. Lauderdale to see my girl, finally! BOL everybody tonight.
To win 1 unit
HALLADAY with a solid offense this year gives you a good shot to win every time out
(917) Toronto Blue Jays ML -136 @ Minnesota
--------------------------------------- TO WIN 1 Unit 919) Los Angeles Angels vs. (920) Seattle Mariners Over 8½ (-120) Thu@10:10p
--------------------------------------- TO win 2 units PLAY
(909) San Diego Padres vs. (910) New York Mets Over 7½
(not sold on Peavy's health this year yet and Maine good to give up a few as well..was leaning this way and Pairof5's confidence in this play persuaded me to place another unit.)
Finished 2-1 up 1.8 units on Thursday. Going to look at Friday's games now.
To win 1 unit WIN (917) Toronto Blue Jays ML -136 @ Minnesota
--------------------------------------- TO WIN 1 Unit LOSS 919) Los Angeles Angels vs. (920) Seattle Mariners Over 8½ (-120) Thu@10:10p
--------------------------------------- TO win 2 units PLAY WIN(909) San Diego Padres vs. (910) New York Mets Over 7½
TO WIN ONE UNIT WIN Cleveland Indians vs. New York Yankees Over 9 (EVEN)
Chamb. struggles to go deep in games which leads to the abyssmal Yankees pen. Looking for a high scoring Yankees win but not touching the -225 price for the Yanks.
--------------------------------------------- LOSS Milwaukee Brewers vs. New York Mets Over 9½ (-125)
Expect Livan Hernandez to balloon his ERA back to last year's form.
Bush will give up his share of the runs as well. Expecting a slugfest in this one before it gets to the 8-9 combo of Putz and Frankie
CBSSPORTS-No pitcher who logged at least 170 innings had a higher ERA than Livan Hernandez's last season
---------------------------------------------- WIN Kansas City Royals vs. Texas Rangers Over 10½ (EVEN)
Don't be scared by Meche pitching in this one as he has struggled mightily against the Rangers. Meche is 4-9 with a 6.32 ERA in 15 starts and one relief appearance against Texas.
The Rangers offense in Texas gives the over a chance every time out.
