    Quarterback - New Netflix series

Just came out today. Looks like a winner. Eight episodes in total. So far, very entertaining.

Any chance the league has figured out Mahomes?

    1) Let's say Kelce ages and slows down.

    2) Mahomes takes more hits. Cincy/Philly gave KC a lot of help to win last year:
    a) Chiefs were on fumes vs Bengals. One Burrow INT. Def End late hit to set up the winning FG.
    b) The two Chief TDs off motion. Walk-in TDs based on knowing the defensive tendencies.

    3) Not say it will be Week One. I think there's a real chance KC's best days are behind them. Two rings, does Mahomes get another?

Mahomes is the league mvp. Hard to bet against him.

That being said, who ends getting Cook and Hopkins could change the conversation. Looks like Miami is out of the running for cook and Tennessee is making a push for Hopkins.

I have to admit... when Mahomes left Texas Tech... I 100% thought he would be a dud... way too small.... and speed only lasts so far in the NFL. Furthermore... who coached him?? Kingsbury? lol Guy is FLAT OUT WORST COACH TO LEARN FROM. Out of all athletes the last 20+ years watching.... boy was I wrong. If Andy Reid didn't run into Mahomes... do you think Mahomes would of been that good? They both think alike. Almost like Belichick and Brady.

I never really heard of Mahomes in college. I mean as far as him being possibly anything close to this good in the pros. He takes dedication to his job to a whole new level and that's a big reason as to why he's so good. I think he's make the vast majority of coaches look good.

the 2017 draft is very interesting when look back at it today.

there are some pretty good players there. Number 12 was Deshaun Watson who's pretty good also but not the person as Mahomes is.

Obviously Trubisky was the all-time error. Mahomes thought he was going to the Bears. Would the Bears actually have a championship(s) now if they had drafted him? Hard to say, but not so sure.

No because the team will always be run first

Not sure. The Bears D was actually good in 18-19. They made the playoffs with Mitch and would have advanced absent the double doink. But he probably would have been pushed to start earlier there, which maybe wouldn't have been good. Impossible to say.

Small? Mahomes was never small in college. You don't have to be a 6'6 gump to be a good qb. You make it seem like he was Drew Brees.

    He's listed at 6'2''.... ain't no way he's 6'2''. I'll give him 6'1'' with shoes on.

A Football Life - is the best documentary show on TV about hall of fame players and how they got there. It airs on NFLTV and now has over 10 seasons of shows. THE BEST SHOWS on sports! A few of those shows have brought me to tears, no lie.

Were you hoping for some shower scenes or something? This had a more family/personal touch. Sorry there were no Michael Bay explosions to keep you engaged.

I thought it was good too. Just happened to feature the spectrum from failure/job loss (Mariota), to good but not great (Cousins), to the champ and all-time great (Mahomes). The personal and family stuff was definitely different. Really more of a realistic look at these guys' day to day lives rather than just the usual rehashing of highlights. So definitely different from NFL Films.

That recovery on his twisted ankle.... all I can say is WOW. Thought he was dead. The kid has guts. Not a Mahomes fan... but I give credit where it's due.

I've seen this show a thousand times. Adding Mariotta's chef/best friend to the mix...I've seen that "personal touch" in nfl films too. The show is not good, plain and simple, and won't be remembered years from now.

Why is Marriotta on the show? He's arguably worst QB in NFL history for players with a minimum starting qualifier

thats the point, to find two entrenched starters, and then a opposite 3rd which is offbeat of the other 2
