So why'd you go to the dentist if you didn't have any cavities to begin with? You can clean your teeth at home, ya know.

for a checkup...I have no way of knowing if I have cavities or not. Usually you feel something with your tooth that has a cavity but even when I did have cavities I never felt anything

I had my teeth whitened back in 2003 I guess. Last year, I chipped my front tooth in a bike accident so I had to go to the dentist to get it fixed. No cavities. Get a WaterPik, a good quality electric toothbrush, floss after eating, and go easy on the sodas and sugary stuff, and there's not much need to go to a dentist for checkups.

So we can now debate the reason your teeth are brown is either shit stains from tossing salads or failure to get them cleaned by a pro a few times a year.

9/10 people would have some form of gum disease. However the severity can vary from mild to severe depending on a number of factors i.e oral hygiene and dental attendance (JJ)

So if you got some teeth that are a bit wobbly JJ ill be worried. It means your gum disease has progressed to periodontal disease (irreversible). See a dentist pal

not going to dentist is a good thing

You can't be for real. Plaque is the cause of both decay and gum disease. Plaque traps bacteria which then basically eats your tooth away and may also irritate your gums, resulting in inflammation i.e gingivitis.
