Well I've been pretty on point with my predictions so far and appreciate everyones thoughts and comments on my past posts ( http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/hockey-han...-thoughts.html )
So let's continue things with an extra day to ponder. I'm on a 3-1 streak right now (nothing to brag about by any means), due to that last minute 5 on 3 PP goal last night pushing the game over and simultaneously ending the Bruins PP slump this playoff season. To put things short and sweet, the Bruins look like studs right now. Everyone is getting in on the scoring, Chara, Krejci (who has seemed to score more goals in the playoffs then all season), Horton, Marchand, etc. Of course we must also not forget Tim Thomas, whom should change his name to "cement truck" cause he has been nothing short of a f***ing wall this series. While on the other hand, Boucher has been terrible and allowed 4 goals on 20 shots last night and was pulled.... again. For all those who watched the game last night, I hope you enjoyed his little temper tantrum as much as I did. Philly's uncertainty for starting goalie has seemed to trickle down throughout the team, and it seemed quite apparent on their faces on the bench last night. Having all that in mind I again have to lean Bruins in Game 4 ending that series with a final score of:
Bruins: 4 (OT)
Philly: 3
I'm only saying it goes into overtime because Philly really has nothing to lose in this situation and will throw every last ounce of respect, energy and heart into this last game, but with no reliable goalie, and the Bruins firing on all cylinders, B's get it done again and put this one away, getting their sweet revenge.
On a side note, TB finished off WAS last night (Thank god!), SJ is about to close out DET, and I'm assuming VAN takes down NAS but its hard to say since the last two games have been decided in OT. So the final match ups look like this:
Boston Vs. Tampa Bay (East)
San Jose vs. Vancouver/Nashville (West)
However, this is hockey and stranger things have happened. Good luck in your bets. Cheers!
